Japan is now a metal superpower. Thanks to ladies like these. The next Nemophila song "Life" please.
I strongly recommend another Japanese female band: "Band-Maid" They have made 100+ songs and almost every one is a masterpiece. You could start with "Rinne" or "Moratorium"

Nemophila is the scientific genus name of a group of blue five-petal flowers native to North America. Commonly known as "baby blue eyes", There is a park in Japan that has an enormous field of them. Their emblem is a Nemophila flower. Great band, they have both great original songs and impressive covers.

The gang vocals show they don't take themselves seriously-Hazuki even winks. If you watch them enough, you will get a clear sense that they are enjoying a private joke. Like "Yeah, we're a bunch of cute, fun girls and we are going to rip your face off".
Nemophil-a (NOT “Nemophil-i-a) were founded in 2019. They are a supergroup composed of:
    Mary's Blood guitarist Saki
    ex-Lipstick vocalist Mayu
ex-Disqualia guitarist Hazuki (also plays with Lisa-X)
    ex-Hölderlins bassist Haraguchi-san, and
ex-Soramimi drummer Muratatam (also does other projects)
Initially, they were just a side project, co-organized Mayu with some help from Saki. They started off posting metal covers of well-known rock, pop and metal songs. Then they began posting originals, starting with “Oiran” ua-cam.com/video/eyb2NtPwcxc/v-deo.html They tend toward hard and heavy, but also do ballads and some pop covers.
After Oiran, others to check out include “Raitei”, which means “Thunder” in Japanese, and yes, they bring the thunder: ua-cam.com/video/lh-dVLKP314/v-deo.html
Other than Saki, none of them had previously been with a breakout band, despite having amazing chops. Getting these five together did the trick-they are just exploding.

You're probably aware, but Naon no Yaon 2021 was streamed by ViSUALIVE on April 29. It’s going to be re-broadcast on June 26 on satellite TV by these people:
      www.kayopops.jp/feature/naon-yaon_2021/
There are some good photos on the page. Quite a lineup of talent, including Nemophila prominently. Eventually there’ll be a YT video, no doubt.
In conjunction there’s a video of Show-Ya's Keiko Terada talking about the history of NnY:
      ua-cam.com/video/K7IHRToz_-0/v-deo.html
English subs available. Not the best translation, but you get the idea.

@@OtobokeGaijin6218 thank you! Yes, I watched the livestream, it was interesting how much energy they were able to project even without the live audience. Show-Ya are absolute heroes, they nurtured the crazy girl-metal scene and we owe them a debt of gratitude!

Nemophila is a band formed in 2019, but actually each of their members is from a different band, so nemophila is like a super band type, and they are a very unique band, each song has different elements, Both guitars are 7 string, and of course 5 string bass,Two guitarists: Saki and hazuki are very famous guitarists in Japan, drummer tamu is one of the best drummers in Japan, she not only plays rock and metal, she is also a very good jazz drummer. next one Please react to 《oiran》or《raitei》🔥🔥🤘🏻🌸

Nice to see a fellow brit get introduced to Nemophila (pronounced fanatically) great reaction . Formed in 2019 to help the singer out at some live shows as she had no band and they got on so well it just snowballed .All members are experienced and extremely talented and some still play in other bands , this song is there latest of 7 tracks available as a cd from JPU records uk (yes a put out cd in the uk ) Oiran with a English version of Dissension on it pre orders now for the 25th release date .Not signed to a label there going there own way .You wont be disappointed by any thing they do there covers they do for fun in-between righting new songs are epic .Online show this coming weekend 19th .

@@GRINNERMETAL I endorse that. But I prefer Ankimo's (the bands abbreviation of Unlucky Morpheus) live videos, "Angreifer" or "Dignity of Spirit" are showing their astonishing skills best. It's all on their YT-channel, along with tons of other interesting tunes - the only song I'm yet not convinced of wholly is the one which Fuki, the vocal legend, sings in english; she sounds better singing japanese, they should have performed in a bilingual version.
Here's the URL for "Angreifer" [german for "assailant, aggressor"], as a convenient start - ua-cam.com/video/gGKWgM4IOgc/v-deo.html. Maybe you could react to both Angreifer and Unending Sorceress respectively. But let me say clearly, you actually do nothing wrong also if you remain stuck to Nemophila and their superb stuff for a while, lol! As Nemophila is so hot, I endorse that, too, hahaha ...

Having a lot fun watching reactors watching/seeing Mayu for the first time. So much for quiet demure Japanese girls, huh?!?! FYI Hazuki is playing a 7 string guitar, she started the solo. The other guitarist is Saki of Mary's Blood, a band you need to checkout if you haven't already.
They have made a number of covers, I especially like their X Japan cover Kurenai, X Japan is one of the greatest Metal Bands you likely have never heard of. Also their cover of Babymetal's Megitsune is excellent, never imagined a cover of it.
