Corps of engineers installed those steps and many other trails in the 40's and 50's I believe. Theres some nice hikes at that park for sure. Ive only scrathed the surface on all of the trails that lake has to offer!

Thanks for sharing this. Did the East Bluff Trail earlier this week, and wasn’t too fond of the rocks. This looks far worse! Impressed by you and Jen!
You should have gone over to the descent to Devil’s Doorway, one of the most iconic parts of the park.
I believe we did I just didn't film it all! I will be back to explore more of that place thats for sure!
The rock is Quartzite, not granite.
