Those 'minor accidents' are lessons learned! Frankie does such an amazing job helping and always learning new skills! She is a great role model for other kids! These aren't sklills many kids know these days especially ones that grow up in the city like mine. This off-grid living and starting a homestead is a new learning experience for them and me too! 😜 Your family is a great inspiration for many! I love the way you guys teach her life lessons! ❤ One day she will be looking back at these videos and have the biggest smile on her face remembering her amazing childhood and fully be able to appreciate what great parents she has! 🥰🤗
Thank you for doing a nice job to Protech, your animals and the chickens and the ducks. They are very important your goats 🐐 Are very important and your horse. Nice you all work together doing all your jobs. See you soon your friend.
I’m still waiting for the incident lol I think it’s like mike said and I don’t think it’s going to happen again! I love the way Frankie lights up when she works with her dad 👍👍👍👍👍😊😊😊😊
What is the song that was played at 2.50 in the video. I remember when the song titles were put in the description of the videos but no one seems to bother now. Found some great music by watching you tube videos.
LOVE the music!!! Yall got one heckuva view there! Beautiful! I can't handle those 48" tall 100' nets. They're too heavy for me! The birds are living their best lifes! Getting out there on the grass is the best. Guard geese, wish I had one! The dogs around here help but the biggest difference for us was moving the coop closer to the house. Some of our chickens are black and I certainly hope that holds true. So far it has but we also have a family of Great Horned Owls nesting in one of our pecan trees.
She's doing good for a 12 year old young lady. Did have a minor mishap but she'll learn from it. Mike's a good teacher. The goats were very interested in the cat lol😂. I like seeing your progress on your farm. Hard work pays off!
I've got a friend here that's got your stray dog problem solved. His last litter of pups is up for sale. We have one that turns one on the 26th. These dogs were originally bred as livestock guardians and farm security for stray dogs on the canary islands. The presa canario breed is an awesome breed. Great guard dogs.
I know a couple of people that have portable day pins fir their chickens. It has a couple of doors to move the chickens through, and a people door so that they can get in when they need to. The pin has wheels on it that can be raised and lowered independently for when it needs moved. They simply push the pin up to a door on the coop pin when they let the chickens in and out for the say. It works great for the chickens and the land. The chickens love being able to eat all of the bugs and grass that they want. The pins are 8'x16'x7'. They are light enough that 2 people can move it easily, and there is a hook up for the tractor to move it.
@@3MISSISSIPPI That electric fence went up really fast and it looked fairly easy. One guy that has the portable pin calls them his chicken tractor too. It is sort of funny to watch him move it with the chickens in it. They stop right where they are and wait for the tractor to move. When it moves so do they. When they know that he isn't going to move them any farther they go right back to work like nothing even happened. The funny thing is that they keep their place in the pin when it's moving, like being in formation. They have a fresh piece of ground so they could go anywhere in the pin, but they chose to start where they were in relation to the pin. Goofy but logical.
Love the content you share, thank you. It is 94 in Gulfport right now and 4 days next week our temperature is supposed to be highs of 99-101. Happy to have your family and the channel in Mississippi.
To this day my oldest sister whenever she has a driving mishap the original tale gets brought up how she mowed over several newly planted trees, how they miraculously showed up in the middle of the yard 😂😂😂
I AM BINGE WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS MOST ENJOYABLE VERY INTERESTING VIDEOS MIGHT DO THIS WITH MY CHICKENS I ONLY HAVE A FEW ENOUGH EGG FOR ONE PERSON SOME BAKING . I HOPE THE HORSE WILL COME GOOD AND WORKING ON HER AUTOMOBILE THANKS FOR BEAUTIFUL VIDEOS MARGARET LYNCH SOUTHERN IRELAND
Accidents can and will happen, been on my farm since 1972 and my dad rest his soul always told us boys as we grew that if some little mishap didn't happen then we weren't doing anything. Looks like you folks are making things happen, fall is just around the corner.
I was thinking the same thing. Frankie has been doing a great job on the farm and tractor. Keep on being a great set of parents and she’ll be just fine.
With all of that acreage, you should build a chicken tractor so you can rotate the fertilization of your soil that way you don’t have an excessive buildup of phosphorus, nitrogen, and potassium plus it’s a lot easier to move than a fence.
Looks like you're doing pretty good for the animals, my question is, is Mike going to build a more permanent type winterized type shelter for the goats? There's only about 6 weeks left until the weather turns and we go downhill on temperatures from there, yes I know the goats need a more permanent winterize type shelter instead of just a small fenced pen
I’ll be adding another dog house but for the most part they will do what cows, sheep, and goats in pasture do which is pile together . As long as they have a covering to stay dry they will be fine.
Syd, drama queen much? 70 degrees requires a sweater? That's a perfect temperature. Cool enough the AC doesn't have to run, and more than warm enough that no heat is required. I received my July electric bill yesterday. Last year it was $120, this year, $195. That Bidenomics is paying dividends (for the power company). It's all coming along and taking shape. As they say, Rome wasn't built in a day. PS, Frankie, tilt the forks all the way back, it will get you another foot or two clearance.
I dont know who told you the black chickens will alert you but you should smack them rotflmfao. the only thing with a black chicken is there less likely to be taken by a flyer predator because the hawks think there a crow. but that dont help the other ones lol
All the animals, hens etc are looking well...Frankies a good help all round...Stay safe
It’s all looking good guys, your Farm is beautiful and your in a beautiful area. The three of you are fantastic with these videos. ❤️❤️👍👍🇨🇦
Thank you 🙏
Everything is more Beautiful in the South Especially the Southern States❤❤

We use electric poultry fencing that’s movable but same idea . We use a chicken tractor for the meat birds.

If you have problems with ticks getting on you and your dogs you can buy concentrated or already diluted permethrin

Mike knows Frankie is Right he taught her everything 13:01 😂

It will help you get rid of ticks and other bugs.

With the goats and the dogs I wouldn't be able to get anything done. I'd want to spend all my time playing with them.
Ha ha it’s hard some days

We have a chicken tractor for our meat birds but for the layers it’s a coop and the pasture fencing we move in 10 mins .
Hello could you use a hog hut for the goats
That would work as well
Those pups are acting like they need a kiddy pool.
If you not breaking something or having an accident once in a while ..you not working . 👍😂
Looks like you're doing pretty good for the animals, my question is, is Mike going to build a more permanent type winterized type shelter for the goats? We di a 2 sided run in.. North and West side covered permanently with a role down tarp for the east side for the winter.
Did

I never said that… clear out your ear holes 😉. My geese alert but the black chickens deter hawks because they think they are crows.
