Elliana and Caroline are my favorites!! They are growing up so fast, very soon they will each be dancing professionally in a company just like their big sisters!! 😭💕
Thought you might be interested in the differences to your schools exams to those of world wide dance associations exams: The examiner would be sent to the school doing exams by the association and would be unknown to the school until the pupils enter the exam room. They could be from anywhere in the world. (One examiner only, unless an interpreter is required). Usually about 4 pupils in the exam room at a time only, but higher levels often 2 or 1 pupil at a time as more vocal questions asked on theory etc. For the levels you are doing - there would be set work but also a large proportion of unknown enchainments etc that the examiner would give you on the spot. There would also be a section on theory etc. Then a dance where the pupils can show their own feel for the music/ability/personality etc. There would be no makeup allowed (except when character dance exams are taken). There is a strict policy on no ear rings or jewellery worn. If you miss a level/grade you have to take it before taking the next exam. The exams go all the way up to dance teaching exam - a qualification that should be available to show if teaching. After this level are 3 more levels - which lead to becoming an examiner for the world wide recognised dance exam boards (in each dance subject). These levels also help when auditioning so set parts/steps in those parts are appropriate. I hope this was as interesting for you as your videos are to me. 🩰
Great video...sure sounds like a lot of work goes into preparing for exam day. You are both are such beautiful and talented dancers, and I bet you did a wonderful job. The Quiner sisters are an inspiration to so many. 👏👏Thanks for sharing! 💗🩰
I was always so nervous on exam day I could hardly eat or concentrate at school during the day lol. You girls are wonderful dancers and I wish you so much luck and “merde” on all future endeavours❤️!
I’d love it if you all did a video about your pointe shoes. Which brands do you wear, and what do you do to get them ready to dance? How long do they last? Your poor parents! 😅 I can’t imagine how much they have spent on pointe shoes over the years! But it’s very worthwhile, you’re all beautiful dancers and I’m sure you have great careers ahead!
Thanks! We wear a variety of pointe shoe brands: RP Collection, Nikolay & Virtisse. They last anywhere from 1 week to 2 months. And it can be expensive!
How do you feel you did on your SAT? I am only asking because that surge of colleges and universities that lowered the importance of the tests in favor of “We love everyone. Look, she raises beautiful fish, or she cleaned her entire home without being asked, or she started her own dog walking service, etc”. Tests are coming back in importance, which I obviously think is a good thing. The tests are helping to weed out those who do not have the academic wherewithal needed for higher education. Good luck in whatever you choose!
I'm sure the exam went really well for both Caroline and Elliana, because they worked so hard for it and they're really talented dancers, like all their sisters! Thanks for sharing, your videos always make my day better ❤😍👏🏻 By the way, this is a little off topic but I didn't know that you had piano at home! Who plays it?
It sounds a lot like the Prix de Lausanne competition! Definitely preparing you for auditions in the coming years. :) Do they use the results from the exam to determine level placement?
Yes, the exams do impact your level for the next year but that is not the only thing. Last year when Ellie & Caroline missed the exam, they were very upset and neither of them moved up.
@@divahc1 in this video near the end, Ellie says she and Caroline both came down with a stomach bug on the day of last year's exams. They should both move up this year.
I think it's cute! I do that as a joke with lots of stuff. At work, when someone is getting their credit card, I'll say "what flavor card today?" I'm also a dork though.
No, but when we are vlogging-no one else wants to be in the film. Everyone tries to avoid being seen, especially in the morning when they are in pjs.🙃 Also, the real audio (not the music over top) would have more talking & action than what is shown in the video. 🤍
For those of you that asked, Elliana & Caroline were move both moved up for next year! Have you done ballet exams?
yes and can u give some tips on how to score distinction for my RAD exams. I’m nervous

I have done RAD exams.
Yes 9 and I'm currently twelve❤

Yes this is exactly like the annual RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) exams that I do, which are usually 1.5 hours, and we prepare 8 months for
@@rachel999 Yes N.A.T.D, I.S.T.D and others too.
I think it’s amazing and kinda atypical for EVERY SISTER to love ballet, that’s rare but so cool! 🩰

Can you guys do a stretching/strengthening video of your routines!?!?
Here’s a video we did on that: ua-cam.com/video/Ixl63TSaGIU/v-deo.htmlsi=pwoBFZ5xdP_2aKHv. 🤍
Do you have exams multiple times a year, or just once? Do the exams determine whether or not you move up to the next level?
We have exams once a year and they do affect your placement. Ellie & Caroline are both moving up for next year!

Hi EIliana, just so you, fragrances have scents, not flavours.😊
We have told Ellie that also.🙃🤍

Ellieeeeee why the ketchup on the eggs 😢
Why not 😂
The rest of us give her a hard time about this! Rach took a screenshot of your message & sent it around to all of us. 🙃
Cause ketchup on eggs is completely necessary 😅
Do you have to make all your own meals
No. We do meal prep. Also, some days our mom makes the meals. Savannah & Michelle love to cook so they make a lot of things. 🙃
your facial expressions remind me of your father. Joe Bowman in Cheyenne, Wyoming
I was wondering where people did exams for ballet. I just got my scores and I am not happy about it.
If this got pinned I will get happy

Title is misleading: ABT exam not NYC Ballet exam. Just needs clarification.
It is about ballet students in NYC doing an exam.
If you've watched ANY of their videos, you'd know they go to ABT's JKO school.
Only misleading if you don’t know that NYC Ballet is a company, not a school, and therefore doesn’t have exams.
@@roastedpepper NYCB has a school.
I think you might be the one who needs some clarification 😂
