I just subscribed to Apple Music and Funker Vogt was one of the first bands to search. I started to listen to their whole discography and this song quickly became one of my favorites.

A very significant message for remembrance Day, the other track fallen hero. Looking back there are no winners, only history.
Ok so imo this song is about a man suffering from delusions of grandeur and persecution. Possible past military background. But it alludes he only knows what the military is through the news and his job. He definitely works at an experimental facility. But anyway, he is given this classified mission, a real doozy. A series of long nights and weekends have him starting to feel his job has a higher purpose. He starts seeing this dark angel start appearing at the edges of his vision and it starts bringing entities with it. Now this man starts feeling nervous. He's working this big mission and he's trying to ignore the growing whispers from the entity. He eventually gets fired for acting erratically at work and he is escorted out of the facility. But wait, the facility kept him protected, an iron salt ring against any harm from the entities. Now he's in the harsh sunlight and starts to run away seeing these entities pop up behind trees and hearing their laughter as they come toward him. And he feels he is a fallen hero. Fired from his true purpose and knowing his pals only laugh about him.

Wie geil Funker Vogt damals waren bis zu Companien in Crime. Für mich die beste Band ever, die CDs stehen immer noch im Schrank und werden oft angesehen und angehört. Die letzten Alben fande ich wegen Chris seiner unpassenden Stimme einfach nicht gut. Mein größter Wunsch wäre es, wenn sich Gerrit und Jens nochmal zusammenraufen könnten:( Am besten im Stile von Navigator oder Aviator. Thomas Kroll fehlt mir irgendwie auch mit seiner Bemalung.

Yet this corrupt person, like many at the workplace, was obsessed with the military. I mentioned, "Do you respect me as a heterosexual?" He replied with anger.' I don't care'. My Quantum path is an agnostic path with Muslim values. Code of practices at a workplace must be respected.
