This is a new project that combines my old project katana with a more bullet helly thing and then throws in binding of isaac style map generation with randomly generated rooms. Figured I'd show it here since it's been a while.

Coming from 3 years after the release of the video and it looks like this has obviously become Archvale. Wild to see how it started out.

I like to think of this project as a mechanical development of katana - it holds the same melee-based combat system but with more emphasis on moving strategically and quickly!
I would really enjoy a video on how you did the 3d effect on the text on the left top corner
Hey there - quick attempt at a writeup in case i don't get around to making a video:
Essentially, it's a bunch of draw_text_transformed just layered on top of eachother. You can offset text using a for loop to create a "3d" effect - changing the colours of lower layers just by checking the iteration of your for loop. Then, for the sway effect, the angle of the text was just manipulated using a sine wave!
