Also, no matter the size of the stage or the special effects, Dimash always carves out a rather large spot for himself. His stage presence and confidence are legendary. This song is for a little boy she adopted, whose parents died after a cable car fell. His father held his small body up until his last breath, in hopes that he will survive and he did.
It's crazy! Dimash is completely alone on this huge stage, a young man and nothing else. But he fills our hearts and all the empty space around him with his presence and music. I'm always surprised when the camera films him in a wide angle and he stands so small on this huge stage, I totally forget the dimensions every time.

I was at dimash s concert in New York, I had travelled for 10 hours by car from Canada to be there... of course as soon as he got on stage I whipped out my phone to record it... I wasn’t even looking through my phone and completely forgot it was there (as I realized later with my ugly cries and off pitch singing when he asked us to sing with him) but oh dear am I glad I recorded it. It’s such a precious memory that I’ll probably never live again. Unless he comes to my city which is highly unlikely. Even if the performance exists on UA-cam and I can just rematch it. Something about having the angle I was at, seeing the whole thing just feeling it again, makes me so happy. Watching him live was spiritually healing. The fans were incredible..... but also... it literally was dimash. His voice was the same! But he was so cute saying : oh uh sorry I’ll be back in the middle of performances like he’s giving his parents a show for Christmas.
The story is soooooo sad. The little boy is watching how his parents die in an accident... i cry always with this song (if I remember it well the accident was with a cable car in the mountains,

Ok. I watch all your reaction videos and enjoy them. A lot of comments aren't English so I don't know if anyone mentioned this so I will. You need to watch the Gloria Wu backstory that is with Dimash's I Am Singer performance of this song. He lost his voice before the performance but still was amazing. If you know the story you won't be laughing when you watch it. You will probably cry. It is tragic and Dimash gets very emotional in both performances. You owe it to yourself to do this research and watch it again.

Totally agree with you about people at his concerts only paying attention to their phones - personally I feel it is disrespectful to the artist. Unfortunately it seems to be the way that people live their lives now - they watch everything through a screen and don't take in their surroundings, you see it all the time with people crossing roads with their eyes on their screens, not paying attention. (a little like yourself, I think!😉) Anyways, about your reaction - I must admit, I was a little disappointed that you didn't seem to quite connect with the lyrics of the song, and the heartbreaking true story of a small child whose parents sacrificed their lives for his, in a tragic cable car accident that took many lives...?😭😭 In all honesty, it took me several months of the screen getting all blurry for some reason🤔! before I was able to both watch the performance in its entirety, and properly reflect on Dimash's technique and complete vocal MASTERY... and wow, those runs! He really is the best singer in the world, without a single atom of doubt - and when you add to that how hard-working, respectful and intelligent he is, as well as being just as beautiful on the inside as his utterly GORGEOUS outside, he really is the total package... and yet, he's still not the globally-known household name he so deserves to be?!
