Dragos Fotache Wait until next week and check the patch notes on the Steam announcements page: steamcommunity.com/app/359230/announcements They're fixing a lot of things right now and putting in new features. The devs seem quite legit about fixing things.
Just as a remark, the calendar is the french Revolutionnary calendar, a system created to root out christiannity from the calendar. It only stayed in use until 1806 though.
Definitely a game to add to City-building Saturdays down the road! :) Probably is good that you are only doing a 3 part for now. After maybe a couple of months, and with all the bugs and patches added on, the game will be even better.
One thing that is somewhat annoying in this game is the fact that the houses support too few people, I mean, in the old citybuilders a level 2 house could hold like 20 people or more, while in this game it houses only 6. That kinda forces you to build up and up until you run out of space.
While I do love to see more City Builder videos from you, cause they totally are entertaining, I'm still not sure how wise it is to start a new City Building series, while Pharaoh and Emperor still need wrapping up as well...
Yeah it's pretty much like the Impressions games but it doesn't have military or religion mechanics. Pretty fun and worth it on discount, but arguably not as good as the old games. New setting is refreshing though.
Marko Gavriloski I've paid more for worse haha. SimCity was 60USD (I did not buy that). How much were the original Impression games when they released? I'm not sure, but also factor in inflation.

(some people might be too young to remembered this). So the retail price varied significantly depends on countries, dealers, retailers, etc. Personally I remembered I buy Caesar III back in 1998, with about $10 USD (converted from $300 NTD), but it was on sale half a price, and it would be a lot expenses in US or Europe than in Asia. And Pharaoh is almost twice expensive just 2 years later. Zeus and Emperor are a lot more expensive, I think perhaps close to the price range to $30 to $40 or more (full box), but they are years later (early 2000s). Converted to current price, would be 1.5 times. building games back in late 90s is pretty cheap, since there are a lot of competition, but slowly they became less popular, and during the online store transition, the price goes way down for newly developed game, and physical boxes became comparatively expensive (they became collector games)

Thought about picking this up many times just because it’s basically an impressions clone which is always great. But there’s just something about it that puts me off. The horrible art style, the janky gif like animations. I get it was made by a small team but ugh. Bit of a shame. Hopefully if they make another one it’ll be better.
I was planning to but development stopped and it didn't manage to match the old city-builders. I still have Zeus that I haven't even started, so I got a lot of city-building ahead of me.
I'm so glad you didn't do another part on this game. OMG it's just so bad with explaining anything that is new to you. It's so non intuitive, it's bad. Mission 5 I tried to build a monument, I had sand and steel and artisans and anything you could possibly imagine. Never got through. Mechanics 1/50000, compared to impressions games 1/1000000000, art style 5/7 :)

seems like a cool evolution on the old city building games, especially the potential walker distance being visible when you plop down a building.

Yeah, it's got some serious swag going on. Being born in "Ventôse" would have been sweet. Shame it didn't have the same success as the metric system.

L Pereira After evolving houses to level 10 I have almost 2K population from a single block of houses. Unemployment is a bigger issue haha.
