Your videos came to me auto play,, First at beginning i thought you are normal tourist I were surprised,, your Arabic is good,,too good And you now tooo much about Egypt Then i understood that you are half Egyptian Great video ya prince,, as usual
Of all the many documentaries I have watched , the lectures I’ve listened to this was the most interesting and informative . I learned so much about Armana !! More ! More!
I adore Akhenaten and his vision. Such an ahead of his time thinker, he saw the mess coming soon on Egypt and he wanted to turn back this process, what eventually still sickens contemporary Egyptian society. I enjoy walking in Amarna, seeing all this intellectual, creative and innovative town, its art and the choice this dramatic landscape.
I was to an admirer of him but then I got more deeper into the bible and the links to Egypt and it changed my views completely I have edited this to add , I’m a very free thinker not part of any practicing religion so taking everything from a non biased perspective 😁
Thank you for the incredible video and that awesome tour guide. You can see the joy on his face as he shows us the various artifacts from ancient Egypt. It is interesting that this Egyptian king worship one God way before the 3 main monotheistic religions were founded. I hope to travel to Egypt one day.
Good video ! , I was in Egypt and dindt make to Amarna , not in the traditional itinerary , thank you for showing us the site , great guide too ! a good tip for him I imagine !
Omar, if you search the history of the capital of Brazil, named Brasília, you will find plenty of similarities related to Akhenaten. Both cities were built in a short amount of time as the new capital of the country, next to an artificial lake, shaped as a bird and sectorized. JK (Brazil's President at the time) died 16 years after the construction of the city, same as Akhenaton. His body now lies on a mastaba in the center of Brasília.
You aren't kidding about the scorpions there. I saw many south of Aswan during a Lake Nasser cruise. They are a light, clear-like species and you can barely see them until they are too close. In the U.S., our desert scorpions are black. Probably just as nasty, but at least you can see them before they are within stinging range. Just a warning to Egyptian tourists: watch where you sit out in the desert and make sure nothing is moving on the blocks.
Thanks so much for sharing experiences ❤, I went to Egypt on december 2017 but I felt so much insecurity in Cairo, Giza 🥴 ... Where did you find your local guide he looks like very nice ? 👋 from France !
May I ask how I can get that guide Mohd Jaffar or any guide? Do we just go there (assume the driver will know where) and then at the ticket booth, there are guides who will take us around? Thanks Omar. This was a very informative video.
The city was built there because the mountains resembled the horizon of ra. The great pyramid was called the horizon of kufu. So were they supposed to represent the horizon of ra? Does the sun rise between the two big ones?
