    I lost all my hair at 19. I've been shaving my own head since then. Now I grow a beard and once again I'm buying hair care products. Life is good. I really did miss conditioning. Great tip bro. Shibby.

    It works with a wooden comb too. Just tried it, I've been using beard balm roughly two weeks and when I tried this with my regular comb (wooden comb works best for me) and applied the beard balm I felt like for the first time I applied the balm the right way. Everyone should try it, from now on this is the only way Im going to comb my beard before applying balm and oil.

    If you brush your beard slower with the heat brush it straightens your beard better, you need to let the brush heat your hair. It might burn a little but you need to find the right speed so it's slow enough to let the heat straight your beard without burning your face.

    I’ve got Vanity Planet’s ceramic hair straightener brush that I purchased from eBay about 6 months ago. I use it a couple times a month or if my beard is extremely wrecked in the morning. I do use a beard oil formula containing argon oil about 5 min prior to use. The Vanity Planet version takes longer to heat up so I use that time to allow the beard oil to soak in.
    Great review and a great deal on that brush.
    Salud! 🍻

      Hey Bro. I have the VP one also but don't really use it anymore because I thought it made my beard look unnatural because it was too straight, but I will have to try Scuba's cross method. What temp setting do you use on yours?

    • @bradleycred99
      @bradleycred99 5 років тому +1

      Draperdog yea- I only use it if my beard gets really wrecked from sleeping. I agree on the unnatural straightness, but I can usually fix that with product and styling. I use the VP at 350. I like the smaller brush heads on the one Scuba previously did a review on. I can’t remember the brand at this moment. I think the VP brush heads are a tad big for my liking.

    • @Draperdog
      @Draperdog 5 років тому +1

      I've tried it up around 300-350 and it seemed way too hot for my face, haha so I kept it around 200-250.. The smaller head ones look easier and better but I'm not putting out any more money for another one and use what I got when I need it.. Especially that $100 one.. haha I'll save my money for more oil and balm.. Haha..

      Damon Warren you’re probably using To much oil. Acne tends to happen when to much oil is used. Itll clog your pores and cause acne. Just wash all the oil out with a good beard shampoo and then just put less oil.

    I am at about 5-6 months growth right now and the problem I am having is right in front. When I blow-dry comb down, the hair curls under my chin and then back down looking ultra retarded. I have to then take the comb and come from under my chin back out and then comb down again.
    I think I am going to try the sideways trick (even for my front) and see how it works out.

    Anyone bought the beard boxes Walmart has for $10 right now? It comes with full size Honest Amish balm, Every Man Jack beard oil (which isn't bad and is pump instead of dropper), Cremo Beard & Scruff Cream, Harry's face & beard wash, Wild Willie's beard conditioner, and a good Gillette razor (l dont need but the wife can shave from the waste down with it). I don't like the Harry's or Wild Willie's because I'm not a fan of peppermint, and I don't like the Cremo because...well, because I don't like most of the Cremo stuff. But everything in this kit sells for close to $10. So I'm getting the Honest Amish balm, the Every Man Jack oil, and my wife's bare legs and kitty all for $10. Pretty damn good deal. I stocked up.
