Marvellous video with superb clarity capturing a handsome coal hungry thoroughbred and a 2 tone green 47 in the majestic twin curving arched train shed of liverpool lime street stn Makes me proud to be a scouser thanks so much 4 the lovely footage ynwa
Great coverage ! Made me feel I was actually there ! It was also good how you kept the camera steady and smooth…. Fabulous loco , a stunning piece of kit ❤️
Boy that brings back memories of the times I used to "spot" at the end of platform - 7 if memory serves me right - hoping there would be a Duchess or City heading the Red Rose or Merseyside Express. A far better childhood than kids of today experience methinks !
There is a “Mount Edgcumbe” in New Zealand near Kawerau in the Bay of Plenty. There was a recent Earl of Mount Edgcumbe” who was a New Zealander who inherited the title.
Was there not any exhaust coming out of the 47 when the Castle left Lime street, the Castle did well then going up the incline and pulling the 47 as well
