Good info, can’t agree with you more on the tools. You can build or take apart anything in your garage with the correct tools and knowing how to fix it when it breaks down is priceless. 🔥💯🇺🇸

for sure! Dude, I'm pumped. Definitely ready to get that thing out on some trails and see what it can do and showcase that Krash Fab set up.

Hats off to you for truly building your rig. I went the same route with my 18 jku. Built through trial and error in my garage and the build is continually in progress. Only thing I outsourced was the truss and sleeve with gussets on the front axle and the gear swap. When I am out on a trail I get more satisfaction knowing that I built my jeep and it provides what I am looking for in capability.

Thanks, and to you as well. Its a great feeling seeing and using something you transformed on a trail. When we did the Rubicon this last summer, I kept thinking how cool it was that my Jeep started almost bone stock and now its cruising through the Rubicon with ease b/c of the changes I made to it in my garage.

@@ELEVENSDIRTLIFE I had the same feeling and again this last weekend at the Big Bear Jeep Jamboree. So Cal is a great central location for building and testing out jeeps.

Awesome stuff and can't agree with you more on the tool comment. Many tools can do the same thing but only one of us those can do quick and right! Just started my own Garage build now and love every aspect of wrenching on your own car. Keep it up and can't wait to see the next phase.

Time and energy savings with the proper tool is priceless.
Awesome! Doing as much of it yourself and understanding how things go together is super helpful if and when things go wrong.
      Thanks!!

I like doing what I can but am limited in skill and don’t have a garage large enough. Good stuff man!

What we can do on our own changes for everyone. Depends on a lot of circumstances. I was limited in skill when I started. I had some mechanical ability but didn't know anything about Jeeps. Just kept learning and observing over the last 8+ years and got myself to where I am now. I'll never be a fabricator or anything like that but I have a really good understanding of how most everything on the Jeep works now. Not having a proper space to do work would be a limiting factor for sure.

The important thing about "built not bought" is, can you fix it/rebuild it on the trail if something breaks? That involves knowing how the parts fit together, how they work, and what tools are needed. That's all that matters. Time is money and custom fabrication takes a lot of time.

Definitely helps having Powertank Steve on the trail to bust out some trail welds if needed :)

Nothing wrong with full bolt on. I was a full bolt on guy for a while. I only started liking weld on stuff because you can do a lot of custom stuff and make it your own way.

100% agree and for most people that will be more than they ever need. Their is some really nice bolt on stuff on the market right now.
For sure. When it gets to next level custom stuff weld on gives you a lot more flexibility to make things work how you want them and really dial the set up.

I used to think that too, until I started researching more and got first hand information from the guys over at Jensen Bro's. Back in the day when they first came out they were definitely intended for super light weight vehicles like buggies and rock bouncers but they have evolved and are rated at 1,900lbs per strut (corner) so 7,600lb vehicle. My JL weighs in at around 5,800 lbs. loaded with tools and off-road recovery gear. Plus I've seen them on JK's first hand for years with zero issues. And these were JK's weighing in over 6K.
