- In the fall of 2020, The Zarzuela Project (a collaboration between LA Opera and The Mariachi Conservatory) produced its first virtual class semester. Community singers from across Los Angeles collaborated virtually over the course of six weeks to learn and perform "Coro de Lagarteranas" from the Zarzuela El Huésped del Sevillano.
