I glanced at the specs briefly. I wouldn't consider a non-Tesla until it comes native with the NACS charging port and can use the Tesla supercharging network. Also in our unique case we had to go with a Tesla if we wanted to be able to transfer our free supercharging.

I have shared my love of the idea of the Cybertruck with the kids most of their lives and they have been waiting patiently to get one, but at this point we've only been able to experience this one in the showroom since it doesn't fit our family sadly. I'm afraid the original Cybertruck unveiling was over promised and under delivered. We'll all be super excited if we're ever able to get one, but I have other concerns which are mainly towing range. I'm considering trying out the Cybertruck for a year, then perhaps getting a Ramcharger hybrid with 690 miles of rated range when they're available to buy. At this point we're just waiting to see what the companies offer and once any company sells a 6 seat version of an electric truck or hybrid with 6 seats and longer towing range (a good towing range is 200+ miles, and ideally more) then we'll get that.

Tesla should make an suv version of the cybertruck like the rivian r1s.
