What an excellent video. We are in Melbourne, Australia and my dog - a Samoyed x Golden Retriever - had this procedure done 13 months ago. The recovery period was fantastic and we have been thrilled with the outcome. I note you said that it is a new 'cutting edge' procedure. It is not performed here often as 99% of Vets prefer and recommend the TPLO - saying it is the Gold Standard of procedures. It is also a much more costly procedure than the MMP along with only surgeons performing it - not the regular vet. I wonder what your take on this is?

Is this the same TTA right? My six years old St. Bernard suffer a LCA rupture and he went to surgeon 2 weeks ago, still getting better.

This is better because MMP uses a titanium foam wedge implant that the bone actually grows through. TTA-2 does not. Same concept different wedge which makes all the difference. We did MMP for our bullmastiff and she's doing great two years later. She squats lower than she use to when she takes a crap but that's the only visible side effect and I can live with that cause she's not miserable anymore. Good luck to you!
