Not fixed as I hoped all that work done and the engine management and anti pollution light comes on after 3 hours of drive. Notice the adblue is 100% since January and is not moving. The garage say they cleaned the nozzle that sprays the adblue still didn't work. So they just deleted the adblue altogether so I don't need to put that in ever again. Drove it 600 miles drives well no hesitations and the light hasn't come back. Happy days for now but for how long?? Not the ideal I know but it's working for now. Thanks
Hi mate I want to thank you My anti pollution light came on And ive checked my mirror and you was right Fixed the mirror and now the lights gone off You just saved me alot of money
FAULT FOUND!!!! ..... you would not believe how silly and easy not that expensive the fix on the fault was once found! Im baffled. Basically the ambient external temperature sensor was not working..... replace this and your problem is fixed! What this does is measures the outside temperature and if it gets toa certain degree it starts the regen process automatically burning the excess soot and clearing the DPF!!!!. Where is this ambient temperature sensor located i hear you say?!?!..... well its located in the most stupidest place no one would think off. On all Renault Vauxhall Nissan Fiat it is located in the driver wing mirror it is underneath the the driver actual wing mirror, a little nib sticks out the size of a tiny pimple. That is your outside ambient temperature senor. Replace the driver wing mirror for a genuine one with the sensor in it, just should clip in the wiring harness is inside the mirror and go for a 3 mile drive you DPF anti pollution system light will disappear for good. Yes someone knocked off my driver wing mirror on the motorway and i replaced it with a cheap on off ebay, no one told me it had a sensor in there. So i did not connect a sensor and no one told me i should as its for the DPF. AFTER speaking to many mechanics and spending thousands on this that the other the problem was a £200 fix with a genuine driver side wing mirror with the ambient sensor! Woww im horrified no mechanic knew this and i spent thousands and i found the solution to my problem online myself!!!! Hope this helps you all!!!!
Hi, glad you found the fault. I have a similar fault and also saw a video a few ago about replacing the wing mirror. I thought as I'm getting a temperature reading on dash, that it wouldn't solve my problem. Was yours still showing a temperature reading. Also if mechanics by passed your adblu were you still getting the message check anti pollution?
@@Upnaboutscotland hi mate I was not getting a temperature reading it would show cold and then as I drove it warms up the temp light disappears. In actual fact this never happened like this when the mirror was the original one. I remember one mechanic who connected the diagnostic machine and he told me diagnostic machine doesn't seem to be reading your ambient temperature sensor, He thought it was a fault with his kit rather than using his nogin to saying that's the problem on your vehicle. He either ignored it or didn't know what it meant. These days mechanics don't know jack, they rely on diagnostics machines due to how many sensors and gadgets there are in and around the engine. No such thing as good old mechanics that know the engineering of a vehicle as the in board computers and sensors have ruined all that. The dpf delete was done with a stage 1 and 2 remap very inexpensive, no need for adblu èver again and the anti pollution light was gone for ever. The only thing he advised was to get rid of or make a whole in the dpf filter. Older cars do not have dpf filters at all so Problem solved.
@Upnaboutscotland my mechanic managed to source one from independent parts suppliers for £175 it wasn't original as in oem part but it was a brand new part with the sensor that worked that did the job! Hope that helps.
same engine has Nissan NV300 easy fix sadly bit late but hope you get sorted

Where did you get the replacement mirror. I've seen them been sold for £55 which I thought was a bit cheap.

@ORileysAutos
Can Anyone Help me fix this check anti pollution system issue ???? I've spent a lot of money on the van!
I have the bloody same problem. If I get it fixed I will let you know straight away. Steve
Either the tube is blocked at the pressure sensor or the nox sensor is faulty.
