As a singer, and violinist, and long-time NIN fan, this cover was exceptional to hear. I've always felt it was one of the most creepy NIN songs, due to how deeply, viscerally, and realistically depressing it is. I think you guys found new ways of of interpreting this heavy depressive energy, in a raw and more beautiful way. I adore this. I wish you had it mastered and available in a studio version on Spotify. Please keep doing this, you're all very talented. The Violin part gives me shivers, so good!

How does this only have 13k views right now? Melodically this cover is brilliant. The masterful use of dynamics are amazing. It captures the dissonance and distortion that NIN use to convey emotion, however bringing a new clarity using the much cleaner vocals, a violin, and lead guitar. Using an arpeggio to convey the bottom melody is so fun and interesting. The pure control the violinist uses over the dynamics and pitch are amazing. It is so hard to make that sound on a violin at such a low volume.

Yo this was such a terrific and pleasant surprise all around.
Honestly, i confirmed i liked it exactly in the middle of the second verse.. for a few lines, to me, it was actually heading towards a threatening and borderline sinister sound and handled the transition back to the chorus *perfectly*for this cover.
I'm unable to tell you how many times, and possibly hours, I've listened to the different versions by NIN and i just know the song too well,but I'm glad i gave this cover a chance.

This does exactly what I want out of a cover. The original is still recognisable in there but you’ve made it your own. A standard cover is just a worse version than the original. This was beautifully arranged and very much feels like it’s own thing while still paying respect to the source. A+

I came on youtube looking for some NIN covers, expecting to find something with some decent level of talent/creativity/production whatever....THIS, beyond exceeded any expectations I might have had. I fucking LOVED the bass oh my god, how creative and on point. As well as the guitar changing the picking pattern towards the chorus and also that beautiful violin joining in. beautiful. you remind me of ville valo, such a warm and emotive voice. i'm a huge fan of NIN and the one thing i think is such a shame is that Trent's voice comes across a little lacking in songs like this one, though he still delivers a strong emotional impact, his voice doesn't tug at my heart in that beautiful way, rather he's good at expressing pain and the ugly struggle of the psyche. when it comes to simple melodies, he sounds a bit too monotone. and the instrumental is really bringing the mood forward too! you have elevated this song. thank you for your art.
