That is how I have so many places to look. Best place to go is a dive bar.......in any town....and find the oldest drunk there. Buy some rounds and do some BS'ing. Every time I do it.....I get invited to some old house....or learn where some guy found lots of arrowheads....where an old dump is......that is how I do it man

Those three yellow marbles are awsome I really like the one next to the bumblebee bee here's a saying the biggest fish in the river gets that way by not being caught!
The dump finds are always Great !! It amazes me how many Valuable marbles are in a dump !!!!
I think if i knew how many nice ones were there...I would never want to leave.

I think so too! He is pretty happy today....he got walnuts and pine nuts from walmart yesterday as well as fresh fruits...his little belly is fat and he is happy...ahahah
That was a great trip to the dump! The marbles, the bottles, the toys! Some of those bottles are right up my alley. The root beer mug is just like one I had from an A&W root beer stand. The little bird was cool too! I just really enjoyed the video! Great to see the man getting around so well.

Yea not bad.....I am hoping after I get a little deeper in there moving up the hill that I get into some older marbles like Alley Agates & Akro Agates. I went arrowhead hunting today on the river....and did good. I will go back to this spot tomorrow or the next day and spend more time there. Try and get some real nice ones.

Very cool. Thanks for the Alley marble history info. That witch was a timely find! Glad Squirrel Man is getting better. I was talking to my fishing buddy yesterday while walking back from a fishing trip, who loves squirrels in his back yard, about how Squirrel Man has given me a much better appreciation for squirrels. I always enjoyed watching them in the woods while bowhunting, and the antics and athletic ability that they have when trying to raid bird feeders. My Dad was obsessed with foiling them and built all kinds of contraptions to keep them out of his feeders. Squirrels are very ingenious and determined to get to that bird feed. Very entertaining critters.
They are smarter than you think. I am serious...squirrel man is smarter than my dog. He answers commands and everything....it is crazy.
I never knew anyone that kept them as a pet, so it's a side that most people don't know (including me until I see you interacting with him). Very cool!!! Thanks for sharing too, BTW.

Bumblebee marbles were one of my favorites...saw in older brothers stuff but quit making by the time I bought marbles in late 1960s...But traded and won enough to have about 15 in childhood collection..

I remember them too. They used to have big bags of sports cards in the early 1980's.....Hockey....Baseball....Football....and non sports cards all in wax packs in a huge sack.....I used to buy the hell out of those

Alright, some really nice marbles for the case. I love the plastic yellow and bluebird. My Dad had some of those in the yard. They were on a skinny metal pole . So you can stick them in the ground around bushes or the flower garden. I believe good call on it being 1980’s. Thanks, later, Joyce🇺🇸❤️🐿👍🏻

I think all of these are marble kings. Even the cat eye. Hopefully I can go deeper in there and get into some Alley Agates or Akro Agates....those types are there....I just have to get down to them. I was in early 1960's trash in that hole...I need to get into early 1950's trash and I will kick some butt

I'm a new subscriber and I'm very interested in the things that you find .especially the marbles. there are some beautiful ones out there. the bottles are also interesting. I was born in 1960 I'm 61 years old today. I can remember playing with the marbles that you're finding. I get tickled at you because you get so excited over how pretty the marples are it makes me laugh. they are beautiful. I wish they still made those kind today. kids nowadays don't have the cool things we had when we were kids. keep up the good work. your videos are great .but I sure would like to see who you are. all I ever get to see is a hand LOL .but I will still watch and enjoy your videos. I especially like squirrel man. he is so cute. you have such a good relationship with him. He's one lucky squirrel.

Pretty neat stuff, cool that they manufactured those marbles so close by. Never found any in the dumps I've picked. Thought I found one walking a corn field once, when I cleaned it up it had swirled rings with a hole in the center, that's when I learned about wire wound indian trade beads. It was a cloudy powder blue with clear swirls. Good addition to my collection. Squirrel 🐿️ on point, I love it! Squirrel buddy looking strong! Good luck on your arrowhead hunt.

When I was a child I scored this nice steel car at the city dump you pushed on the antenna and the liscence plate changed numbers it had lot of cool stuff powered by 2 d cells any way my best friend started a competition and the goal was too lift the most weight with a d cell powered gear box so I gutted the car I just learned a few years back that it was this Austin Healey james bond car worth big bucks it had a lot of other features I didn't mention but I was just a kid and knew no better !

That is awesome.....old house finds are usually in nice condition like that. I love looking under houses for finds.....under porches and under floor boards
People used to burn coal probably up to the 50's and that went out in the metal "ash can". Frequently that could cause fires at the dump. Probably accounts for the alternating ash layers you see...all that winter coal being dumped.
I guess there used to be fires on this dump all year long. One guy told me that is like 88 or 89...that one summer there was a huge fire that took a week to put out

Another great video brother !!! Your dump digging videos always spark great memories for me !! I remember going to the Ben Franklin five and dime store when I was a kid !! It was only a few blocks from our house. Couldn't tell you how many times I walked home from there with a bag of marbles or toy soldiers !! Loved that store !! The Bumblebee you found in this video was beautiful ! Glad to see Squirrel Man doing better !! I feed the squirrels at my house everyday !! A friend of mine gave me an old cow skull that I stuck in the backyard and the squirrels have chewed down to next to nothing. Didn't realize when I put it out there how beneficial it was to the squirrels !!

Great idea bug spray I've had the Nile virus not any fun!
Ive been bitten so many times by mosquitoes I have to be immune to all that stuff....some day I get bitten hundreds of times. Even with the bug spray they nail me in the dump...just not as bad. I got hammered on the river today. I even saw leaches out there today...I filmed one of them
@@rockscousteau my personal enemy is deer flies like you with the wasp I get a golf ball size lump every time a deer fly nails me the west Nile dude i thought the same as you but then one day i started getting rashes randomly like first it would be on your leg then your back and for two days this went on i looked it up and realized it was west nile and the article said the worst was yet to come and it was the final punishment was absolutely killer about a day and a half of feeling like some one is punching you in the kidneys i mean your low back and kidneys nothing stops the pain no position is comfortable it was wicked and then it just quits i was lucky some people have reoccurring symptoms for years mine was just about a week !

I did not know till I looked it up....I dont think I have found any of those before. That turned out to be a pretty cool find....the base is not gone from it....kind of cool. I like pirates too....who doesnt....ahah

Squirrel Man is getting back to his fiesty self, everything your doing for him seems to be working great ! That bird was real cute. surprised it wasn't crushed or color bleached. No....I was only like 15 yards off where I found that last piece....I will go back over there soon and dig some holes. You know there has to be more of those pieces over there someplace. All of it would have been unloaded from the back of a truck and dumped all in the same area. I know there is more there

You answered my question in the video. I hadn’t gotten that far when I asked about the marbles. Now I’m wondering about snakes! Lol. Do you?
I rarely see snakes.....Only in creeks.....on the dumps I have maybe seen 2 in the last 2 years. In a creek I would see one every trip. Only thing that is bad are mosquitoes in the woods here. Dont be scared of snakes. The chances of getting bitten are less than having a car wreck and getting hurt. You just have to use your head. Once you start making noise and digging...any snakes that were there...will be long gone.
That little mug could have been one used at a root beer stand foe a kids drink. Those mugs were often stolen an taken home by the customers.

Great dig Rocks. Your dump is like going to a toy store lol I found a clay marble in my yard it looks old its red and blue swirl how can I find out how old and who made it?
I just usually use marblecollecting.com
There is lots of good info there if you look around. There are some other marble sites too.....you can usually match them up on those sites. I am no marble expert. I just mainly know about arrowheads in depth...I just know enough about marbles to identify some of them. It can be challenging at times....alot of them look alike.

They came in bags for 5cents and 10 cents....like 50-100 per bag. They were the most popular toys.....for decades --from like 1930-1960. Every kind had usually hundreds of them. Every place I dig on this dump....I find marbles. It is a town dump....thousands of families dumped trash there for 100 years. It is just loaded with marbles
your in some part in a 1930s .you should get down to the baes .
I was trying to....those damn cave ins just hammered me. Every time I got down tot he layer with marbles...I got to dig 10 mins and a truckload of dirt came down...LOL. That is how it goes sometimes

Yea I like all those old toys....most of that stuff on this dump is all destroyed. So many old tin toys on this one that are just ruined. I like the toys as much as the marbles
Thank You for stopping Scott. I am digging arrowheads now....but I will go back and dig on this dump this weekend. Try for some more marbles. I am hoping to get into a pocket of Akro Agates or Alley Agates.
Hey Teach. I am late to class but I wouldn't miss it. The title should say "Old Stuff In Lieu of Blood, Sweat and Tears". lol. I like the finds though. We can play in the dirt, or go slosh around in the water... always a good time! I thought starting my day, with your uploads, was the way to go... but honestly, the last two nights, I got to watch you, with Squirrel Daddy, before I went to bed....
