Love these videos, they taught me more about my Epic than I ever learned in a dealer class. As a garment sewer, I don't need a lot of the new features of the Epic 2 though I'd like to have a laser to make it easier to adjust seamlines accurately. But I grew up with a straight stitch Singer Red Eye from the early 1900s and still sometimes sew on my Desiger 1, so for me the Epic 1 is about all the high I can deal with.
9mm max stitch length, 37 needle position. Laser guided embroidery positioning (whatever that means). She didnt mention no2 comes with only a soft cover. You're welcome.
Cheers from Western Mass. Sara, I absolutely love you and these videos. I watched your videos on the Brilliance 80 while waiting for a loan to go through for it. Those videos were top notch and a complete blessing for someone who never embroidered, owned an HV embroidery machine, nor knew that so many options on a machine existed. Options such as a cutting tool or DSS or ESS. Thank you again for the help. Are you by chance going to tape a comparison of the Brilliance 80 to the Sapphire 85?
Sara, I would have not been using my B80 were it not for your videos! My dealer agreed that it was a mini Epic 1. However, a moderator told me it is not. That it is built on a Diamond head.” That really deflated me!I want to be in love with it, but was immediately replaced by the Sapphire 85 after my purchase this year. I spent money I felt guilty for not putting in a trust for my grandson to begin with. Can you reassure me? Thank you!
The only thing that I miss at the Epic 2 is the projector, like the one of the Brother Luminaire xp1 or 2. Than the machine would be perfect. At least for me... 😊 Though for now I can't afford no one of them... 🤔😌

Thank you for the amazing review. I wondered the major differences. I purchased a gently used EPIC 1 and love it
Glad it was helpful!

Yes, I will. Thanks
Great video! Can you do a video for Epic 980q vs. Epic 95q? I'm thinking of upgrading from my HV Sapphire 960q to one of those Epics machines.
Yes I can
Have you upgraded?

Does this machine have the camera for positioning?
The Viking EPIC machines do not have the camera for positioning. I am sure we will a camera on the next Husqvarna Viking
@@HeirloomCreations what a shame. Deal beaker.
