extremely helpful video sir,UA-cam had a serious lack of extremely informative biochemistry videos until you started making your videos, hats off to you, sir. Highly appreciated!
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else needs to find out about for cholesterol lowering try Pronto therapy folio (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my friend got excellent results with it.

SIR , YOU ARE A HUMBLE BUT POWERFUL BIOCHEMISTRY TEACHER. FIRST TIME UNDERSTANDING LP METABOLISM AT THE AGE OF 44 YEARS SIR. THANK YOU SIR AND PLEASE KEEP IT UP

It is such a great lecture . I was so confused when I opened the book . Then I saw this lecture and the whole mechanism is now crystal clear in my mind . Thank you so much

Dr. Mungli could you make a video on Familial Hypercholesterolemia and explain the details of where it starts? There isn't much information on this topic. thanks!
Sir really excellent class. When I read the text it seems to very tough for me.. but once listened to your lecture I understand the topic is how simple
Very comprehensive video. I have seen most other videos on the internet but you beat them all hands down! Heartiest Congratulations!1 One question: Does liver generate LDL, especially during fasting when insulin/glucagon ratio is low? Please respond as your answer is important for my hypothesis. Dr. Suresh Shinde,MD.
Sir if ldl is bad cholestrol and transports cholesterol to extra hepatic tissues and also hdl exchanges triglycerides with ldl for cholesterol then why we say that high levels of hdl are good? If hdl is high then more delivery to ldl will be done and more deposition by ldl into arteries?? Am i thinking correct?? Pla explain.
Can comeone explain me this: I am studying from a book, where it says that Chylomicrons DO have apoA on their surface too, that is later transfered to HDL. 80% of the internet studies and videos, do not even mention apoA when they talk about Chylomicrons. So my question is, do Chylomicrons have apoA on their surface or not?
I mention clathrin while I teach LDL receptor mediated endocytosis process. This lecture was on overall lipoprotein metabolism not specifically going into too much details on each of these molecules.

Hormone sensitive lipase is inactive in presence of Insulin ....Insulin normally inhibits the activity of hormone sensitive lipase on the endometrial cell....sir. so in case of Insulin deficiency more and more TAG is degraded and more and more free fatty acids are available for ketone body synthesis....please check and confirm ...🙏
Hormone sensitive lipase is different from lipoprotein lipase. What I'm explaining in this video is lipoprotein lipase which is induced by insulin. Please watch my video on different types of lipases in our body. You can search for that video in my channel.
@@DrMungli Thank you so much for your prompt and humble reply sir and clarifying my doubt. I shall watch your video on different types of lipases to understand more...🙏👍

There is HDL3, and HDL2, and Nascent Discoidal HDL. Is there a HDL1? Or is the Nascent Discoidal HDL called HDL1?
Yes there is HDL1 which quite different from nascent discoidal HDL.
