Kirby main here, I really, really want to see Kirby being good again, he was the 2nd best character in 64 but probably the worst character in the entire smash history in Melee........ he’s decent in brawl, but he’s never good since then........ I just wish Kirby will be revived soon, as Nintendo’s not scared to make Meta Knight broken in brawl while keeping him strong in 3DS/ Wii U and Ultimate, and not afraid to revive King Dedede from his bottom tier spot in Smash 4, making him average this game, I just wish Kirby will be at least average......... #makekirbygreatagain!

I think they changed it to fit in with the faster gameplay. In Kirby’s case, because of that, they wanted a faster taunt to get rid of an ability.
