  • FIRST EVER EXTRA HUGE CRYSTAL HAUL to kickstart my crystal collection and I think it turned out amazing! I have just recently decided to grow my crystal collection for my personal daily healing purposes and also because I have come to love and appreciate each crystal. I am still in the process of learning so much about each of them. All items featured here are all from Etsy small businesses.
If you are looking to purchase specific authentic crystals, this is a reminder to always do up your research when purchasing each type of crystal as there may be synthetic/fake or man-made or even falsely advertised crystals sold online or even in-stores, especially if you are looking for a specific type of crystal for healing purposes.
    *Findings to take Note:
    1. Alabaster snowflake is made out of glass and is not a real natural crystal. You may refer to this video for more information • GREEN LARIMAR? PINK LA...
    2. Howlite or Magnesite can look extremely alike, so they are often confused with each other. Though they look similar, they hold different energetic frequencies which also means different healing properties. There aren’t any full videos that I have found speaking about this yet, thus it has been pretty difficult to identify the differences unless we do any proper chemical testing for the components. One main thing is if you lick a magnesite, it will stick to your tongue whereas a howlite wouldn’t. There’s much more to this research, which I may or may not talk about in another video.
    3. Another would be Citrine - there are unheated vs heated Citrine. Citrine basically was once Amethyst and some sellers are using quartz to dye them to look like Citrine or even Smoky Quartz to look like Citrine. (In my own words) Unheated ones were originally amethyst which then developed its natural honey colour through natural exposure to heat over time, while heated Citrine refers to the ones which the colours have been induced by man through a fast track or forced heating process to produce the yellow colour resembling Citrine. However, the colours between the two are indeed very different. Initially, it was hard for me to identify, but over intensive searching up, the best description I have found to describe a natural citrine colour is one that resembles iced tea, from light to dark. There are multiple sources out there, but I did check with one of the stores who deals closely with their Brazilian supplier and they shared that there should not be any green undertones in a natural Citrine.
    4. I’m unfamiliar in identifying the difference between yellow and honey calcite and although my yellow calcite was advertised as it is, I suspect it might be a honey calcite based on photos online. So, to be confirmed when I do get more information on this.
    5. Trolleite also helps with throat and crown chakra, apart from the third eye chakra I stated in my description. In my video, I shared that it is a combination of Quartz, Lazulite, Scorzalite, and occasionally Lepidolite from one source. Another source states it is A combination of Lithium, Lepidolite, Blue Tourmaline and Lazulite. Currently unsure which is accurate.

That clear, diamond shaped, stone that you thought was quartz is fluorite. Fluorite oftentimes forms in that pretty shape.🥰

I actually recently purchased a strawberry quartz kitsune from a cute little crystal shop, in a town that I was just in for the day…❤️

On your round little plate i believe your royal blue stone is azurite, and the transparent octahedron is a fluorite. The more transparent they are maked them rare. If you want to test if your crystals are real, real crystals always have a cold undertone. Lets say rosequartz tumble, you hold it- it gets warm but you can tell it got a cold center, or if not leave it for a few seconds and it will already start cool down. Synthetic stones will stay warm longer.

If you ever want to test a crystal for dye, put fingernail polish remover on a paper towel, and rub a part of the crystal with it. Dye will come off, unless the piece is polished.

The way to clear off old energy in your crystals is to leave it under the rain. That works for me.

I just looked up magnesite. I loved the properties and it is relatively rare. I ran to my extensive collection hoping to find a piece of howlite that is really magnesite. No luck!

Where are some good shops to buy crystals in singapore?

I won’t be able to provide a full list since my crystal collection started mostly only after I got to the US, but I do have one store that I absolutely loved to visit back in Singapore called Harmony Gem crystals. I was mostly attracted to the tumbled stones back then since I was in an experimental phase to learn about each crystal and their properties, also because I had a smaller budget and was fairly new to my crystal collection phase. You can look them up online, they do offer quite a wide range of tumbled, raws and polished of all sizes with pretty good prices I would say. You can google them up to take a look at their store, quite a good number of photos to show their range. Hope this helps! :)
