It’s time for a long theory dump:
I have so many thoughts about who the Sith Lord could be (if they even are a lord, they could be an apprentice trying to train an acolyte to overthrow their own master?). The more I think about it, I notice the height difference between Osha and the Sith in the trailer and feel like it’s verrryyy close to the height difference between Indara and Mae.. so now I’m wondering if Indara is the Sith and sent Mae to attack her to cover all traces of her by faking her death?? It seemed suspiciously easy (but if it was for real, it’s still understandable bc the Jedi are not warriors at this time, they’re peacekeepers). Like what if Indara started the fire and not Mae.. plus what if she pulled the original Count Dooku move of deleting files from the Jedi archives and deleted the info about Mae. I feel like it’s presented in a way where Mae and Osha seem like they’re being manipulated and pitted against each other, especially in regards to their own emotions and trauma associated with each other. Mae’s Force visions don’t seem to be just nightmares or foresight, so I feel like they’re being implanted, possibly by Mae’s master. I’m assuming the Sith is trying to take advantage of the fact that Mae and Osha are the daughters of the Mother of a witch coven and probably have really high potential for the Force and a range of abilities.
So many thoughts just based off trailers and two episodes, I’m so excited about this series.

I just love that we have such a big mystery to unravel here! But yes I was also thinking it could be what you said in your first line which would be kinda similar to the savage opress plot line in clone wars in a lot of ways. But that would be so sick if Indarra is the mastermind behind all of this, because yeah that blade looked like it didnt go in all the way and her death was so quick for being a master. The only thing about that is the jedi probably went and burried her body so idk how she'd get away with that. I'm so glad I'm watching something that everyone is watching at the same time so I can't be spoiled on it lol

@@JustGavinBennett That’s a good point because the Jedi do burn their dead. Now that just makes me wonder if even more people might be in on it, because by definition acolytes don’t actually need to be Force users, they could just be regular people that learn and follow the religion. It would be interesting if there was like this underground group of Sith worshippers working in the Jedi Temple. It wouldn’t be shocking at all considering the current Jedi Temple in built on top of a Sith Shrine that is very rarely visited until years later in Dooku: Jedi Lost. It’s always interesting to me that the temples are consistently points where both sides of the Force have deep connections and history. Like the temples Luke stays in on Ahch-To with that dark side cave beneath it. And even the Sith Shrine underneath the current Coruscant temple is built over the Jedi temple from the Old Republic. Just constant cycles and the presence of both sides.
