As a Millwall suooprter I must say what an honest and humble thoughts you have to say without any bitterness about it. Hoping he will excel at Millwall and may I wish Notts County good luck in finding another goal machine with the money from the deal.
Congratulations Macca on your move to Millwall. It’s a short career and you’ve more than earned this opportunity. You did us proud with your outstanding performances. All the best.
I’m truly gutted he’s gone unbelievable player for us, I wish him all the best at millwall and will be checking in from time to time. All the best Macca at millwall you’ve done us proud
Understand your disappointment we’ve been there. Wishing County all the best, hopefully you can go from strength to strength next season. We are really chuffed to have Macauley join us.
Lions fan here. We’re all hoping he hits the ground running. We’ve had a few over the years that never lived up to the hype. Looking forward to seeing him bang a few in for us. Best of luck to you guys,,,,,COYLs
Shame but he deserves it. Good luck to him. Scott and Jatta will be a good combination and who knows, Notts may unearth another gem. The recruiters who brought Langstaff in may well do it again. Can’t wait for the season to start. Live feed at 3 am Sunday morning in New Zealand.
As a Millwall season ticket holder/fan it's always gutting to lose a good player. Macca looks the part so hopefully he'll do the business. All the best for the season 👍
The fee is undisclosed. Rumoured transactions are what they are, rumours. We need to console ourselves with getting a return on the initial investment - never guaranteed in football. Macca deserves every chance to prove himself at a higher level. Good luck Macca! Thanks for everything.
I’m Millwall, the thing that excited me the most in this was when you said no one else was pressing and he was. By that and other things I’ve heard about his work rate, we are going to absolutely adore him at the Den
Well said Tom. However, to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. It's not that I begrudge him a transfer up the leagues and any player has to consider such approaches if they are ambitious. But what I always find distasteful is when a player or a manager talks about being committed to the club for the future/next season and then leaves. Why did he accept the club captaincy if he has any thought that he'd move if another club came in for him? And if the fee is £700k Millwall have got him on the cheap. Vardy cost a million when he moved up and that was from non-league. So now we're just about to start pre-season friendlies and we've lost our main striker. I'm not a happy supporter today. I might change my view if a more detailed club statement comes out; nothing on the web site as yet.
That was probably what he thought at the time Tom but things change quickly and their careers are relatively short…I would think he thought it was too good an opportunity to miss.
Langstaff can't win can he. He will naturally say that he is committed and it appears by the comments that he has been utterly committed and professional throughout. Do remember that if your club hadn't accepted the offer then the move wouldn't of happened. At £700k the fee seems surprisingly low, but he is of course unproven beyond L2. ✌️
The inevitable has happened, he's gone, but he has been a great servant. We have lots of great talent left. I wonder if him being made team captain added another zero onto the transfer fee!? 🤔😃
The thing i would say is he is better going millwall than a bigger championship club. It's always better to be a bigl fish in a small pond. He might do well for us and step up to the Premiership.
Nice to hear what you think & fair doo’s to you. I am sure we paid 750k with add ons up to around £1.2mill. He will be well at at home & well looked after. 🦁👍🏻
so its undisclosed fee with add ons what does that mean how much i just think he ended up at millwall to be nearer london when he ends up iin the prem he will end up an england player millwall wont be able to keep him either from millwall to tottenham or arsenal money moves players and hopefully the add ons will be big add ons for notts finder fee
Quite simpy, the rumoured fee is not enough. 700k (+ addons) is the figure going around. Let's remember that Jamie Vardy went from non-league Fleetwood (after scoring 31 goals in one season) to Leicester for 1 mill (1.7 with addons) and that was 12 years ago now. So I think any valuation around 1.5 to 2 mill would have been much closer to what most fans expected.
@@iridial3 What you don't understand is unless your a Prem club or a Championship side on parachute payments no one is going to pay 2 mill for a league 2 player who may or may not be able to perform 2 divisions higher. You may want 2 mill you may think he's worth 2 mill but you aint gonna get it.
Possession stats mean nothing, when we beat Southampton they had 70 % Possession and lost and you can't compare your stats in the national league with a team in the championship. Still you can dream.

He was sold too cheaply and Didzy is never going to be any kind of even partial replacement. Good luck to him, but the timing is terrible.

Millwall we are quality not so much quantity! 🦁😁😁😁
Gutted, but so happy for him. Deserves it. We need to replace those goals though.

We go on!
I’ve been dreading this 🤦🏻♂️
Notts have a history for selling too cheap. Masson, Needham, Short, Johnson etc etc
Sorry to see him go but good luck to him
National league here we come even with him I didn't 5hink we were gonna be promoted as we've got Maynard as manager
They have an absolute bargain there.
So sad to see him leave for only 6 figures
We don't know it is six figures.
The add ons will probably take it over the million mark.
Disaster but inevitable really. Hope we got a good price for him. Slightly worried when they say it is an undisclosed fee.
Sickening…… 😡

Jatta, Cedwyn and Didzy….time to stand up and be counted
How much did we give him away for

No one is paying 2 mill for a league 2 striker.
@@ChrisBrown_1959 ok, did you read the part where a national league striker with a worse scoring record went for 1.7mill 12 years ago?

This is worse than gosling, macca leaving for a grain of sand. Time to rejoin the channel memberships for a bit of joy.
Millwall fan here. Great deal for a great player. It’s quite funny to see all the complaining for 6 figures.
You have not seen him play................
Gone to a smaller club
@@neilwiddison6529 haha in your dreams.
@f5l0uie40 Charlton bigger club too lol
@@neilwiddison6529 Sorry I can’t really hear you from league 2. And now without macca i definitely won’t when your in non league.
Pity it’s Millwall, think he could have done better; how will he do in a team whose possession stats last year were around half those of Notts ?
Possession stats mean nothing, when we beat Southampton they had 70 % Possession and lost and you can't compare your stats in the national league with a team in the championship. Still you can dream.
Pity your club ever gave oxygen to Lee Hughes. Shame on you.
It seems millwall are bigger than notts county tho. 😊😂
He is worth £5 million to a championship club.
hahahahaha
Gutted, hope we can replace him.
gutted
我在中国,也感到很绝望。😂
One step forward. Two steps back. 👎
