Can you please have a sitting with none other than Rohail Hyatt himself. He is kinda camera shy person himself and prefers to stay behind the scene most of the time. I hope that changes through your channel.

The issue that you said gumby bhai ki mastering karne ke baad sound change ho jaati hai is what even I experience every time ....at times I'm just not satisfied with the sound that I hear in multitrack vs the mastered output !

I am slowly but surely moving to analog processes to my mastering chain. I think even the cheapest in analog gear will sound better and musical with hardware over plugins.
I will be doing a comparison video soon

@@LouisJohnPintoGumby I believe since these plugins may sound "similar" to original instruments but afterall they're not the "instrument" but are a series of code replicating the sound ....it might sound 99% similar to original instrument but I guess it's that 1% that's making the difference but again it's on the ears of an individual some might prefer digitally encoded stuff while others analog

Dear Gumby, I would like to recommend you an interview with Shallum Xavier, and have discussion about the lack of new compositions creators, and the sad popularity of music covers.

Similar struggles in India Artists go through. Thanks for the videos

The audio quality is soo annoying in both episodes. Unnecessary panning and frequent hissing.
But still enjoyed both the episodes. Proves that content matters, nothing else. ❤️

Insightful conversation 💯 you guys should do a longer podcast. Maybe like a series of podcasts with Pakistan producers. It'll be interesting to see them disect their tracks and how they've produced them 🙏

Agreed! I think each recording engineer/producer has their own taste and hearing capabilities while mixing and mastering. Plus it's interesting to get an insight of their gear and how they use it to their advantage
