Bulrush wetter farming trial - phase 1 complete!

We are re-wetting an area of drained agricultural peatland in Greater Manchester to reduce carbon emissions - and phase one is complete!
Next we will be trialling growing a crop of bulrushes (typha) which love these wetter conditions. The fluffy seed heads will be used to make BioPuff, a revolutionary eco textile which can be used as a sustainable filling for puffer jackets.
