@@lightning5273 Dude, I'm a long time fan and I LOVE the guy's vocals. I mean, I miss old ensiferum, but it's not like this is bad. The contrast between his voice and petri's create a really interesting interaction in the songs.

Pekka looks like he was pulled from his office's Christmas party, had some black paint smeared on his face, and told to go into that cave and sing his heart out. Does he ever! Definitely a highlight of the album.
@Rebecca Martinez Yeah, he does those power metal-esque cleans. A very nice counterpoint to Petri's harsh vocals.
We toured with these guys and Amon amarth back in 2008-2009 and I will say without a doubt they are one of tightest live bands out there. The drummer Jenne (spelling?) is an absolute machine. And even after 4-5 drinks. The fins man. They have the metal thing in their blood. Also very nice folks. Also the guys in Amon amarth were super cool as well. That was one of the best tours I ever did. Good vibes.
I like how the voices of Lindroos and Montin contrast, I think they harmonize well being so opposite. I never get tired of listening to Thalassic

I remeber not beeing impressed, then, a few years later i got to see this live. Boy was i wrong. That voice cut throug venue like nothing. Cant wait for the new album.

@@hinjurock70 Don't agree with that. No offense for Petri but I always found Ensiferum to be too one-dimensional. Pekka's voice adds to much to the whole band and there are even reminiscences to Michael Kiske. Unbelieavble voice!
@@MatthiasBuesing agree with you...he really reminds me of helloween and I adore helloween as much as I adore Ensiferum....but probably those who hate Pekka's clean vocals are kids that think that singing clean doesn't make you sound metal

Being objective, this song is a tribute to heavy metal in every sense, it is very well crafted and complemented. I applaud the recruitment of that singer, as they have blended very well with Ensiferum's original sound. Frankly, I had no idea that they could still surpass themselves. Congratulations, and I hope they stay together for a long time.
