Wow, watching this was making me so nervous. I was in the city when it was beginning, as I had arrived yesterday for an MTU camp. I hope that you all are still ok, because honestly, it was freaking me out, how close to the rushing waters (wherever that was), that you all were.
aint been out that way .But so far seems like most damage is in the towns where the roads couldn't handle the flow.No damage out here by the big water though.Plenty of drainage round here I guess. The rain was not as intense either. My best guess is you should be ok, but then again, I can walk 2 blocks and have 15 degree difference in weather over here,so......lol.......who knows what happened over there.....good luck

So sorry for your loss. I grew up near Houghton.
I live in Michigan, but I live on the other side of Michigan,I’m in one of the biggest rainstorms ever right now.
Shit man, that whole hill your standing on could have broken loose.
What happened to your copper harbor videos?
Omg that’s crazy... thanks for the video..becareful
Houghton is my favorite city to visit it’s so peaceful now there floods
Me live in calumet comeing back from moab
I live in chassell,
we have damage but I think Houghton and lake linden have us topped.
The Pilgrim River Bridge is basically gone, and tjhe Taco Bell drivethru is no more.
Me and my family visit Houghton and Hancock every year and now my sis is trapped and the road out of town is destroyed hope they recover
I think ALL the major roads out of town have some kind of damage. What city is your sister in? Is she safe at least?
Where is this in the area?
