Just get yourself a LiitoKala Lii-500 charger, take apart the battery pack, individually test each of the 12 sub C NiMH batteries for capacity (NOR test) to determine which one(s) are failing & replace the faulty ones with better ones. Reassemble the battery pack & voila ! 🤔😉😎

@@Blarnix I just watched this video before opening my battery pack and foolishly posted the previous comment. Now I'm in the same situation as you. It's good way to tight😅😅

I need help! I changed my batteries, and it stopped working after the first use. I am trying to replace batteries again and the cover doesn't open! I don't know what to do 😔

I replaced the old Ni-HM battery with a Li-Ion battery, and now the iRobot 780 vacuum cleaner doesn't recognize it when charging. Error 1, what to do with it?

But a Lipo will not go bad any time soon. Nmh batteries drain fast and memory of charge gets bad pretty quick

@@cr2928 The NiMh battery in my Roomba lasted over 4 years. It still works but only runs for 40 min, which is still enough to do a room. NiMh is is way better than NiCd as long as you keep them charged up and don't let them over discharge.

Just buy a new roomba on ebay. Seriously I've bought a bunch for $20-30. Get a 650 without problems for the same price and take a giant leap forward in performance.
