before anyone says anything, yes I am very aware that a lot of the camera footage looks pretty blurry/low res/grainy. thanks to apple products encoding videos into some weird unreadable file format I had to do a workaround just to get the files onto my pc, which resulted in a lot of quality loss and compression compared to the original video. I intend to purchase a decent dedicated video camera to avoid these problems in the future, and to streamline my content creation. I hope this clears up any issues with the video quality!
Great review, enjoyed the black background for sure, helps make Sazabi stand out without being intrusive on the eyes. I ended up using tamiya cement for ABS on the wrist joint and it made all the difference. Now I just gotta thinken up the ball joints on the wrist and legs and it should be alot more stable.
Hey man, thanks for the positivity and thank you for watching! Glad you enjoyed the video, I’ve got more coming soon! I like the black background too but I think I’m going to try to find something that absorbs light better so you don’t see all those wrinkles in the fabric and such.
I great video, and a balanced opinion of the kit. You certainly haven't put me off buying it. From my point of view, I've just complete the RG Sazabi and the mobility is great, but the multi-integral molded hip module with the little hooks is pants for the side skirts. 1 falls off a lot, and the other simply will not stay on from first fitting. Annoying to say the least. I am however cutting panels and adding extra hinges, and will do some panels mods and lining. This will be a learning labour of love. First I want to buy and build the Sazabi Ver Ka, it's a monster...
If it wasn't mentioned here, or it hasn't been told to you, I find that if you add the beam effect to the beam saber, you can slightly lift it up and it can then be pulled out
@@gatomeong well I haven't built it yet, i received it, I'm building Barbatos right now. But it looks nice. I will built it soon, i didn't have the time with all the exams etc etc. So when I will finish it I'll tell you ^^! You buy your gundams with Hobby link japan?
You know, I just started doing Gunpla review videos also last year and I'm also struggling as to what works best. I am currently doing the review of this massive model kit for my channel and thankfully I have encountered your review for lots of insights (especially for the beginner tone type of reviews). Salute to you sir and more power to your channel as well!!!
Great video bro! my only real criticisms are that you could have posed it a bit more with the accessories, and the audio is weirdly quiet, though that may be caused by it being dubbed over idk Also I'm not sure that's how you pronounce decals lmao
hey, thank you for watching! I think I bit off a bit more than I could chew for my first review, so I agree with you there, there definitely was a lot more I would have liked to do with this review. between it being my first one and the project being scattered haphazardly across a period of 3 weeks it was hard to keep everything together. Not sure what caused the audio mixing to be off, since I did the same thing I did in my unboxing video, although I do see what you mean! and as for the last bit, idk, that's just how I pronounce it lol :P
I gotta disagree with the audio comment, this was a nice change of pace and I was able to concentrate on the details of Sazabi alot better with it set like that.
Depends on what your budget is! If you’re looking for $30 or under I’d recommend high grade kits, I personally really like the gm space command, the GBN base Gundam, and the zaku II High grades out of the ones I have built, at least off my head
I’m 2 years late lol but i have a question. My sazabi shoulder would always get disconnected from the arm joint and just flopping around, is that supposed to happen or should i glue them together ?
Just finished my sazabi, but have problem with funnel, when i closed the funnel wing, the tip not slide down, only one 1 works 5 failed :(, idk whete is the problem
I just saw on Facebook about Sazabi fuel tanks for sale. I've found out what to n where the fuel tanks go but I haven't found anything about how they work. I saw the schematics n they look to complicated to actually be functional being just a few inches long. Or are they more less a prop? Asking for a friend
The ones that come with the kit are static objects that just plug into the backpack, they don’t have any gimmicks. You may have been liking at a resin conversion kit since those get posted on Facebook often
Anyone have suggestions on getting either of the rifles into the hands, still attached to the kit? I can’t seem to get them to stay, and especially not without the wrist joints coming out of the arm sockets.
I already have the rg sazabi to match with my rg nu, rg hi nu and hg nightingale but bought the mg sazabi just for its awesome details that the rg version doesn’t have
I've owned this kit for 3 months and I'm scared to start. I get shots of dopamine when I finish a kit, and hg's give me that fix. I also want to get better at scribing.
Man I really wanted a mg sazabi for the mg nu gundam but his articulation doesn't really seem worth the time and money I'd put in as I love to pose the for shoots Love the rg but I would've really liked a huge sazabi Real shame Great review!
I can't quite put my finger on why, but the way you move your hands really puts me off in this video. I'm sorry if that offends you, but I can't explain why. Maybe it's because your hand movements really don't match the cadence of your voice. It's distracting, and I hate it so much. lol Sorry. Maybe try doing your script while you record and then rerecord it over your microphone, so your hands can move along with your voice.
Gunplabro well it’s not really about the emphasis I think it’s more of like (at least in this video which is 2 months old now) I went over a loose script in my head while filming and moved my hands with that, then recorded an actual script with my voiceover. Currently though my videos are becoming much less free form and more structured and scripted which I think helps sync my hand movements to my voice
The saucy bee is a beautiful mobile suit and they really did it justice in both RG and MG forms.
agreed. one of my favorite MS designs to date, RG is on my list for sure!
The “saucy bee”
bruh lol
Rg sucks, falls apart, joints suck 2
@@xiopia3940 you gotta be the only one ever to think that. The RG sazabi is an amazing kit. Really great one

I still wish the saber blades were yellow.

Would love to see you do one on the nu gundam ver.ka, this was awesome!
I think this kit would be perfect if they changed the hip joint, got rid of polycaps and gave fixed pose hands.

Ah it’s probably because I just Kinda move my hands around while filming and I do the voiceover later, sorry about that
Yea try recording your voiceover twice with the same emphasis you use in the recording of your video
