A perfect trading technique for faster speed is to find a 188.8 gm hammer ball and swing it three rotations less than with the full size hammer ball of 800 grams. The two matches up in the speed build perfectly and they go the same distance. So you can throw and know what distance you are at without the stress it is absolutely perfect. The only question is can you maintain that ramping up for three more turns, well can you!
My coach would tell me, keep your chin behind your stomach..so basically try to keep your head back on each turn and keep putting it back further on each turn.
i would recomming using a more abrupt jerking motion with your lower back paired with a yanking motion with your left arm. Try to force the orbit up and down as much as possible until you are almost scraping the ground with the ball. on the release you should actually hit the ground to make the ball bounce up. This will add no less than 5 meters to the throw. Also i would recommend keeping your legs farther apart and rotating all the way to 0 degrees before your right foot lands. Good luck
Nobody ever said to keep my knees closer together and tighten up my rotation, I was way to wide on my turns could'nt generate any speed, able to get 3 spins in but no increase in velocity relied mostly on upper body strength and poor technique. This is a whole new sport for me throwing implements. I started throwing recently and i am basically self taught, which means I have inept instructor Ha Ha!
you need to keep the weight on your left leg more. your leaning too far back. you want your arms strecthed out as much as possible. bigger radius farther distance. but most important keep pushing left
Lots of weight on your right. You have no apparent work phase. Getting back on it too much with not a lot of speed. Upper body isn't very relaxed and you seem to be pulling from 0 to 180. Without a work phase you are dragging it. Because you are getting back on it too much your posture/ weight is going everywhere. Because you aren't relaxed your orbit is inconsistent and not fluid in a single direction, and the pulling is helping the dragging problem but breaks down form even more and makes you lose even more speed in the ball.
Watching this person, performing these skills incorrectly, does a real dis service to the sport. We The watchers, do not expect perfection, but we need a detailed reason for the drill and what mistakes to watch for so we can learn. Please explain and critique drill videos.
Appreciate the help, without a word being said you have helped me to correct a problem in my technique. Thanks
Its a good think for hammer feeling.

Apparently, this athlete was looking for feedback, my bad....
Good way to get technical advice, again my apologies!
don't stretch you knee after the ball has passed 90 degrees. You'll drag it out of orbit.

I'm not sure if I understand your interpretation of pushing left.
how far can you get jmm
At that point about 53 meters
haha what was that problem?
