Hello. Is this an improved version of the "Mi handheld Vacuum Cleaner"? Which is the latest and/or better model?
Hi. Well, I think that Xiaomi Mi Handheld Vacuum Cleaner is mostly oriented to Global market, while Mijia 1C seems to be focused on CN market. Anyways, Mijia 1C was released later and it is the latest Xiaomi Vacuum model at this point.
In my honest opinion, Mijia 1C has better price/quality ratio, as it can be found for only under 185$/170€. Also, Mijia 1C has 3 different suction power levels, while the other model has only 2.
Hey nice review, one question, is the battery user replaceable? I found replacement batteries for the Dreame V9, which has a few screws so it can be replaced but I’m not sure if it’s also possible with the Xiaomi model?
I think it's the same with Mijia 1C vacuum, but I hope the battery would hold properly for at least few years with an average use.
If I had go make my decision between this one and xiaomi lighter vacume which one I should go..knowing that price is almost half only lighter cant suck big trash ..please advice

I haven't tried JIMMY, but I really love both Mijia 1C and Dreame V10. No complains or problems after 2-3 months.

Roidmi F8 has some nice premium features (magnetic charging, bluetooth, led light), but performance - cleaning wise - Mijia 1C is better and also cheaper model :))

It's good enough, although special carpet brush would definetely be more efficient.

You should have made a test with pressing the debris into the carpet, that would have been a more realistic test.

What do you mean moping? You cannot mop with Mijia 1C model, but there are special designed mops from Xiaomi ecosystem.

Just bought it today and was amazed by the price, so far it looks beautiful really powerful and was MUCH cheaper that and all the similar vacuum cleaners from other brands such as Dyson, LG and Panasonic.

Xiaomi is much cheaper but heavier weaker and far from dyson
Mijia 1C is 1.5kg, not 3.5kg as you mention. Sure, newer and 2-3x times more expensive Dyson are better, but to be honest 120AW is powerful and more than enough for my personal use.
So if you want best budget vacuum - Mijia is a great choice. If you want overall best (but 2x or 3x times more expensive) - get Dyson V11.

Hi. On balanced suction mode you will get around 20-25 minutes of working time. I think its enough time to clean 3 rooms :)

I was looking for this review! Just one question: do you have to hold the power button to keep it working? Or it's just on/off button? Because it might be inconvenience if you have to hold it all the time to keep it vaccuming.
Hi Justinas! Thanks for watching! You have to hold the button when you use it. It would be nice if they added simple on/off button, but I wouldn't say it feels uncomfortable. Holding position is natural, button doesn't have big resistance.

My carpet has long parts and my current vacuum cleaner gets stuck with them because the brush. This one does not have similar brush so might work better?
Not sure how it will work on long hair carpets... It might get stuck as well, but yeah... Hard to tell without trying.

Hi. You have to hold it always while cleaning around. But its not a deal breaker as the button is on very natural holding position.

So im really confused, theres the Xiaomi Mijia 1c and theres the version without the 1c in the name, both have the same accessories, but the vaccum itself (i think the handle) has a slight design change, whats the difference between these 2 because im confused

Got it for 130€ from AliExpress Spain. I wanted to know more about the wall mount, how does it attach to a wall for example.
I think u tested battery with motorhized main brush thats why its 46 minutes. I think xiaomi promises to use 1 hour without any motorized brushes.
Indeed I didn't attach any brush heads when testing max duration (battrry time).
But what the technology of the battery. I think this is main thing that xiaomi has lower price than dyson V8. Xiaomi Battery life may takes one year but dyson8 ,3 years user say still near same battery preformance.
I am not the expert of batteries,but Dyson is already a big brand, that has it name when we consider top level production of vacuums. Meanwhile, Xiaomi and Dreame are relatevely new players in this area and they use cheaper solutions for products. E.g. they dont have magnetic charging, no LED light on brush head, longer charging time, etc.

All Parts are easily to disasamble....what about the Battery...? What about cleaning the Rolling Brush?
Battery needs to be unscrewed, so it's not easy detachable. Cleaning rolling brush is easy at it removes.

Performance wise - they would be very close and similar. However Roidmi F8 have some (unnecessary) fancy features like connecting vacuum to phone & LED lights for cleaning in dark areas.
Is that actually advisable to wash the HEPA filter with water?
Well, as long as you dry it up properly after washing - I think it's totaly ok. It was designed to be washable, have washed myself once (but mainly for video review purpose). Anyways, vacuum is still working fine, have no problems at all :))

Stated 60min battery life is for main unit alone, if you test it with motorized brush then battery life will be worse, like all others(Dyson etc.)
I have tested it without any attached brush head, only main unit.

This one or Xiaomi Jimmy JV51?
Personally I would prefer Xiaomi Mijia 1C, because of it's design, however JIMMY JV51 is a great or maybe event the best budget vacuum cleaner. Jimmy JV51 also has detachable battery, that might be an advantage for some of us, however in my case I use Mijia 1C as secondary cleaner next to my Xiaomi Mi Robot.

Hi. Why do you want to replace hepa filter already? O.o There is no need to replace it after few month or so. Maybe after year only.
@@NiuxTech hello, the HEPA filter must be washed sometimes and during the drying time I need another one to use the Mija Vacuum.
@@rikiS222 HEPA filter is placed on the top of cleaner. Spin to remove it and then you can disattach it from plastic cover with some force by pulling. You can dry with hair dryer or put it under sun for 24 hours. For extra replacable filters I would need to check at AliExpress.
What's the difference between this and the dreame v9 and the new dreame v10. Kinda look the same
Mijia 1C and Dreame V9 is practically the same in terms of specs, as well as design. Just different branding and packing.
While V10 seems to have a little bit stronger motor and suctiom power (they call it "Space 3.0 Turbo").

Little bit different design. Also Mijia 1 has normal mode + turbo button, Mijia 1C has 3 adjustable power modes.

@@NiuxTech On Chinese sites thy show 62mm top and 67mm "bottom". I guess 67mm digit is with rubber ring.1C filter is 70mm with ring. So, dreame v9 filter should be 5mm smaller. Once filter wear out, VC is done. This is ridiculous. 😆

I did see deep study and RnD pioneering , breakthrough by the Dyson handheld vacuum the :'game changer'. I see Xiaomi just make little effort by just copying Dyson handheld vacuum. You guys giving credits to the wrong company. Very disappointing.
I dont see anything bad in making similar products from well known & successful brands. It makes competition tighter and helps in reducing market price. Also it allows people with lower budget to afford it.
Honestly this Xiaomi's products look much better and cleaner than the 2001 A Space Odyssey aesthetics of Dyson. For this reason alone I'm considering 1C (although I have worries about the hand knitted carpets I have)

I would prefer larger battery & faster charging rather than removable battery.
