My playgroup decided we were going to challenge ourselves to build 100$ decks and this was the deck I chose. I already have a non budget Uro and really wanted to make this as well to have both titans. Kroxa seems incredibly mean and powerful. I'm super excited to see the deck in action
I know this video is kind of old but I'm getting tons of good cards from it! Bought the rakdos chaos incarnate precon (the one with Kardur as commander) and I started slowly shifting to a discard deck and yesterday i got my beloved Kroxa to put as a commander. Gonna add a lot of these cards to the deck, they look fantastic
Wow I was just thinking of building this deck! Been messing around with some mono-black discard decks in Table Top Sim (Rankle and Tinybones) and felt that it needed some red in there for the wheels and madness
@@vex_mtg i was more asking about how you felt about him as the commander of a group slug deck? Do you think you would be interested enough to make a tech on it?
Cuz it’s unfun? Idk, I’m making this commander but it’s not hard to understand why people don’t like it. CEDH is part of the game, would you like playing against Grixis turbo ad naus every game and losing on t2 70% of the time ?
@@TRU3OGR3 I see your argument but id like to add another layer: i assume you and your playgroup are like mine, in that each one of you doesnt just own one single deck? In that case you dont play EVERY SINGLE TIME against such a deck. And based on that scenario, yes, i can totally have fun losing against a deck going of and.. idk. Say winning in turn 2
@@Nyakes yeah we have prob 5+ decks per person made up at any given time. I still think some strategies are not fun though. Trying to win at all costs is fun if everyone is mostly on the same page with their deck building though for sure.
@@vex_mtg appreciate man and I like your editing of your videos is there any chance you could a series but with budget commander decks till 150$ and see if they are good enough?
I think the Dragon is pretty dangerous combo to execute, but you can get people hellbent to insure a clean combo. You have to live a little dangerously sometimes. 😅

Yeah, Kroxa is pretty mean, but it's fun to play.

The red does add another dimension to the deck, it also has wheels that help the deck keep the discard going.
love the vids i would like to see a atla palani deck with big creatures and eldrazi
Have you seen summoner's egg? It's creature type has been updated to include egg as a subtype.
I've had it on the list for a while, just haven't had time to put it together, maybe when there's another couple of egg creatures.
ever thought about a kadena the slinking sorcerer deck? love the videos keep it up
I wasn't really interested in the Kadena deck because it didn't have red in it. Maybe they'll have a red one in the future.
Should really consider running sheoldred and zoyowa lava-tongue
I was wondering your thoughts on Mogis, God of Slaughter
I think Mogis is a good include as its a slow grind type of deck.
@@vex_mtg i was more asking about how you felt about him as the commander of a group slug deck? Do you think you would be interested enough to make a tech on it?
How much did the deck cost? Is there a possibility to make a budget deck of this version?
It costs about $500, you can always make cuts to the manabase to save money.
Kroxa is my Boy. I would love it if you take a look at my decklist, I would post the link here if you wouldnt mind
Sure, can I take a look at it.
Give me a decklist :D
Umbris deck soon?
Indeed, soon! Still getting the cards together.
Thats what i always say: if its part of the game, why hate it so much? Same with land destruction.
That's my philosophy too. Play all the things and strategies that are legal.

Is kroxa deck alright for beginners?
I do not recommend it, it’s very salt inducing.

I think you can go long with this deck too.
