Be careful what you ask for. If you truly want a heart like David, it costs everything. Take from the mouth of the cross, unless you're willing to lose EVERYTHING, even those closest to you, then don't ask for a heart like David.
When I first started listening to Scripture while sleeping the devil attacked me ferociously in my sleep. Giving me nightmares and fitful sleep. Our Father in heaven through His Holy Spirit gave me the strength to push through it and that old serpent and his minions fled! I’m just sharing this in case any brother or sister experienced the same thing…ask the Lord to rebuke those unclean spirits in the name of Jesus and they will flee! Don’t let them win! He knew it would bring me closer to God and he knows I already have issues with sleep and night terrors but Our Fathers Holy Spirit is greater than any man, spirit, power, dominion, etc. He always prevails! In our human will power alone it is totally impossible to live without sinning. BUT by the grace of God and the enabling power of the indwelling Holy Spirit it is totally possible. So long as we are united to Christ Jesus by faith, sin shall NOT have dominion over us. (See John 3:3) We read in Romans 6:11-14 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. King Jesus and King David. I wish Jesus was as present with us today as he was with the old prophets and servants of His. I've talked with angels and heard the Father King Jesus's voice but not lately. I miss it come Lord Immanuel of Nazareth and take us out of here.
If you read the prophets, observe how great swathes of time are not covered. This book for example covers Samuel’s entire life and there are long gaps. Don’t be discouraged just keep doing the right thing by God.

I've been going through things very similar to what David went thru with Saul , I know it's not right , but like God brought David out on top , I trust that the Lord will do the same with me .... Yeah it's a shame because salvation is a free gift and should never be charged for the good news. But we live in a evil world where nothing is free. I think what bothers me is the crude vulgar ads that pop up on alot of Christian channels. But I just hit skip ad as soon as possible.

I understand that it took time and effort to put these videos together. However, I think it is very disrespect to God and His Holy Bible to have commercials play before every chapter. And it is utterly contemptible, to play ads multiple times during the same chapter. May God have mercy on whomsoever have permitted such a thing.

I appreciate you putting these videos up for free, and I don't mind watching ads at the beginning or at the end. Buts ads of women's period underwear and yoga pants splattered all over the Holy Bible is an absolute disgrace. You should be ashamed of yourself for letting UA-cam run those kind of ads. I am thankful to listen to the books of the bible and I am not interrupted with commercials. So there is a better way people, so go find it instead of complaining.

To me, it was the same as getting a Bible, and having ads throughout it, similar to a magazine or comic book. I considered purchasing and downloading Scourby's audiobook, but this greedy corporation, that holds the copyright to an audio Bible, that was recorded in the 1950s for the blind, wants $50 for the right to do so. Starting in chapter 7, the audio isn't parallel with the words. The page is advancing before the last verse is read. Could you please correct it, it's very confusing when you reading along and the page advances and you haven't/can't read the verse. Thank you.

I get the complaints about adverts. We wish we could play the Bible Recordings free, however, the reality of life is everything takes money to do anything. You see free programing on TV, but they have ads in the programing. We pay monthly bills for all kind of things. It takes a lot of work to maintain the channel and create the videos. Users trying to provide free programming, not supported by nonprofits, most end up going bankrupt. We have no control over the ads that are placed in the videos, that’s totally up to UA-cam. I don't know anything about the people who run the channel here but I do know how easy it is to post already created content and the cost for operations (nothing). The Word of God should cost exactly what it costs to produce and nothing more... Like paper, ink, binding, shipping, etc. None of that applies here and UA-cam is free to post in most cases.

When I first started listening to Scripture while sleeping the devil attacked me ferociously in my sleep. Giving me nightmares and fitful sleep. Our Father in heaven through His Holy Spirit gave me the strength to push through it and that old serpent and his minions fled! I’m just sharing this in case any brother or sister experienced the same thing…ask the Lord to rebuke those unclean spirits in the name of Jesus and they will flee! Don’t let them win! He knew it would bring me closer to God and he knows I already have issues with sleep and night terrors but Our Fathers Holy Spirit is greater than any man, spirit, power, dominion, etc. He always prevails! All praise and glory to the Most High God 🥰

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
I believe the Bible is clear on what it says and stands for. May the Good Lord help us all.
In our human will power alone it is totally impossible to live without sinning. BUT by the grace of God and the enabling power of the indwelling Holy Spirit it is totally possible. So long as we are united to Christ Jesus by faith, sin shall NOT have dominion over us. (See John 3:3)
We read in Romans 6:11-14 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourself unto God, as those who are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Thank you for your comments about adverts and we can understand where you’re coming from. Let me say the following: First, UA-cam Selects the ads for the videos, normally they are synergistic with the content and they can be skipped after 5 seconds.
Second, there is no business model in the world established on giving away goods and services. FREE programing is on TV, but ads appear every so often to pay for that programing. If there are no ads, then a subscription fee is involved. We all pay monthly subscriptions, to NETFLIX, Amazon Prime, HBO, etc for content. It takes time and money creating Channel content as well as maintaining the Channel, it’s not FREE. We wish we could play the Bible Recordings FREE on UA-cam, however, the reality of life is that it takes money to do anything
Jesus said this in Luke 10-7 “And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire; and Paul said this in 1 Timothy 5-17-19, 17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.18 For the scripture saith, thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. Yeah it's a shame because salvation is a free gift and should never be charged for the good news. But we live in a evil world where nothing is free. I think what bothers me is the crude vulgar ads that pop up on alot of Christian channels. But I just hit skip ad as soon as possible.

Frankly, we think the four most Important books in the King, James Bible are the four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These represent the new testament Covenant, which God sent his son Jesus Christ to establish between God the Father and his people. To me, it was the same as getting a Bible, and having ads throughout it, similar to a magazine or comic book. I considered purchasing and downloading Scourby's audiobook, but this greedy corporation, that holds the copyright to an audio Bible, that was recorded in the 1950s for the blind, wants $50 for the right to do so. Starting in chapter 7, the audio isn't parallel with the words. The page is advancing before the last verse is read. Could you please correct it, it's very confusing when you reading along and the page advances and you haven't/can't read the verse. Thank you.

Historical Apocrypha facts. The word Apocrypha simply means "Hidden. The Apocrypha is a selection of books which were published in the original 1611 King James Bible at the end of the Old Testament and positioned between the Old and New Testament. It also contained maps and genealogies. The apocrypha was a part of the King James Bible for 274 years until being removed in the year 1885.
It's not certain why the apocrypha was taken out of the king James Bible in 1885. Some conjecture, and it was taken out by the printers, who wanted to save some money on the publishing of the King James Bible.
The truth is the original 1611 King James Version contained the Deuterocanonical books. Just as these books the Protestants call the "Apocrypha" Books were in Martin Luther's Translation and all of the Earlier Protestant English Translations of the Bible which Predated the 1611 KJV. This should not come as a surprise when one considers that right inside the front cover the KJV says That it was:

I get the complaints about adverts. We wish we could play the Bible Recordings free, however, the reality of life is everything takes money to do anything. You see free programing on TV, but they have ads in the programing. We pay monthly bills for all kind of things. It takes a lot of work to maintain the channel and create the videos. Users trying to provide free programming, not supported by nonprofits, most end up going bankrupt.
We have no control over the ads that are placed in the videos, that’s totally up to UA-cam. You can discontinue the ads after five seconds.
Couple suggestions if you do not want any adds to appear.
1. Consider signing up for UA-cam premium subscription service, they have a free trial. Give it a try and see what you thing

There is no such successful business model that exist in the US, where you put content on a platform for FREE and then expected to continually maintain it for FREE! Do you pay for your cell phone, cable service, Netflix, etc, one time and then expect if for free forever? It’s like TV, you get free programming, but there are TV commercials. Jesus said the following: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Luke 10:7
However, if you don’t like ads, then let me suggest that you look into getting the UA-cam Premium subscription where you can subscribe to UA-cam and get the Bible readings with NO ADS. UA-cam has a FREE trial, check it out and see how you like it.

@@pattywolford I think you are correct in this case yet I can understand tithing when necessary too. I don't know anything about the people who run the channel here but I do know how easy it is to post already created content and the cost for operations (nothing). The Word of God should cost exactly what it costs to produce and nothing more... Like paper, ink, binding, shipping, etc. None of that applies here and UA-cam is free to post in most cases.

Historical Apocrypha FACTS: The word APOCRYPHA means "Hidden. The Apocrypha is a selection of books published in the original 1611 King James Bible for 274 years, and was placed at the end of the Old Testament with the New Testament following. Then in 1885, for reasons unknown, they were removed. So we are putting them back for those who want to read the missing Books of the APOCRYPHA. It's not certain why the APOCRYPHA was taken out of the 1611 King James Bible in 1885. Some conjecture, and it was taken out by the printers, who wanted to save money on publishing the King James Bible.
