This is beautiful. Not only are they great dancers but they have emotion to go along with it. They're more than just an extension or a pirouette. The choreography is beautiful as well!
I discovered this dance on UA-cam about 9 years ago, I see that this was posted 12 years ago. I truly keep coming back to watch this dance. In fact, it is always suggested for me. I just thought it was time that I leave a comment. To the choreographer: brava. This is the single best piece of choreography I have ever seen. The unison. The canons. The rose choreography. I truly wonder at how this came to be. Congratulations. And to the dancers: wow. The athleticithm. I love how everyone was such an individual, but also a collective. Like the Spice Girls. This was absolutely beautiful and hope you are all doing well. Just out of curiosity, how did this dance do? As a former competitive dancer, I bet it swept.
Goodness!!! Absolutly STUNNING!!!! I LOVED that they turned to stone once they ran out of pedals to pull from the rose. Just absolutly AMAZING!! Im in love!
Does it really matter? If these girls enjoy dancing and are comfortable with themselves then that's what matters. Not the size of their hips, waist, or thighs but the passion and heart they put in it.
Who choreographed this? She/He needs credit for this! Every time I watch this I am inspired all over again. The emotion... the technique -- You girls did absolutely amazing.
This is amazing. Who choreographed this?? I use to dance with a couple of the girls when they were much younger. Amazing to see what beautiful dancers they've grown into
What a talented group of dancers! great flexibility and technique. ..maybe I'm just a little picky, but I would have loved to see them be a little more in sync with each other. Regardless, still amazing!
Yup. haha I don't know a single thing about French. Even though I've been taking ballet for 10 years I haven't the slightest idea how to spell any of the vocabulary. :D
I'd have liked them to be more in sync, but I'm almost sure I'm picky. My classmates in marching band and I would always get in earful if we weren't perfectly identical. It's kind of just ingrained in me now.
That's a bit insulting. I have been training in Ballet since the age of 4 and haven't stopped since, and we're not talking recreational classes, we're talking 5 hours of class everyday after school and 8 hours on weekends. I have hips and thighs. This isn't because I am executing my movements incorrectly, but because body types are genetic. It isn't hard to book jobs without having the cliche dancers body. E.g. Misty Copeland (principal for ABT) has some thighs, and she's doing pretty damn well.
I actually think the bigger or curvier dancers are more fun to watch, because most of the time they are more determined and have more artistry. I'm not just saying this because I am one of them, I honestly think it's true. It's like we have something to prove, so we work harder and put more emotion into things. I find my eyes always drawn to dancers with an unusual body type. This is a very big generalization, I know.
i've been dancing all my life, my uncle indeed is a nutritionist and i go to one of the best ballet academies in the U.S. so i i think its the cretins and the ignoramus' that don't know much about dancing or nutrition which saddens me because those of you who don't understand what i mean of this or what if you don't believe then you obviously don't know very much about dance or the real inner and mental aspects that need to come together to form a perfect dancer and with that comes body shape.
a dancer doesnt need to look like anything. as long as they're dancing, they're fine. i've been a competitive dancer since the age of 7 and i have hips..ever thought of genetics?
I love this dance and I love the dancers.I could care less about the size of their thighs but honestly they don't look big to me.They were wonderful.End of Story.
are you a dancer?do you think the dancers just leap i the air and get high because they are light?no they have to pus off the ground with their feet.the harder you push the higher off the ground you get.so you would hope they had a lot of muscles so they can push off the ground hard.if you dont know anything about the topic or how hard it is to dance then dont make a comment next time.P.S. if you think that i am just some random person writing this comment then your wrong.i am a skilled dancer
I think you're being rude and saying girl/boys who are built bigger & not stick thin arent good dancers. People with bigger thighs are amazing dancers and they use their turn out. You can't just make a big prediction like this okay? thanks.
thats not true.... if dancers have big hips that shows that they are putting all their weight down and not lifting up. Dancers should be very skinny with small hips and not big thighs because when a dancer has big thighs that shows that she is not using the inner thigh but the outer thigh. See how the girl doing the turns in the beginning doesn't have big hips or big thighs. That is how a dancer should look at that age.
This is beautiful. Not only are they great dancers but they have emotion to go along with it. They're more than just an extension or a pirouette. The choreography is beautiful as well!

Everyone check out Sophia Lucia's dance to this :) it's flawless
I'd have liked them to be more in sync, but I'm almost sure I'm picky. My classmates in marching band and I would always get in earful if we weren't perfectly identical. It's kind of just ingrained in me now.

Wait, what company is this?
is this the teen division
Who is the choreographer?
who sings this song?

Hayden Hopkins is stick thin .

only kind of dancer body i like
Most dancers..that are 13+ have what you call muscular thighs, what does skinny mean anyway...dancers aren't always a rail thank you very much
the reason she has big thighs is because she has muscle... are you crazy?
I think you're being rude and saying girl/boys who are built bigger & not stick thin arent good dancers. People with bigger thighs are amazing dancers and they use their turn out. You can't just make a big prediction like this okay? thanks.
...not to be mean but their feet are killing me!
errrrm... what. I don't see a problem with any one of these dancers physically.
in MY opinion they are not. they are fit.
thats not true.... if dancers have big hips that shows that they are putting all their weight down and not lifting up. seriously this is the most disgusting comment ever. Go take a coarse in college about the dancer body... MUSCLE is normal.
