I've bought a Khartu'al, Talon, Prowler, and Defender in game. My favorite is the Khartu'al, but with the current weapon balance where S4 guns are really not much of a DPS increase over S3, and with the change from 4-faced shields to a single bubble shield, which, combined with its huge front profile, makes it a flying broad side of a barn... It's not as combat effective as it once was. And if your opponent has ballistic weapons, which penetrate shields and damage your hull directly, it's incredibly easy to lose one of your fancy gimballed thrusters and basically be out of the fight. It's still incredible to fly, especially with a full dual stick and rudder setup with headtracking. The Talon is insanely nimble and presents a very small profile while still getting the same armament as the KA, while also getting access to a few missiles. It's truly a fantastic ship that can punch way above its weight class and easily dodge incoming fire. But with no storage of any kind and no bed, it's strictly a combat ship, like the KA. The Prowler... I want to love it, but it's really only good for showing off its looks. It's armament isn't too bad, but it's not agile enough to put it to good use, and being a big target, the shields go down faaast. It does work well for dropping a bunch of guys off for ground combat, and I've had success using it to drop a bunch of friends off at Jumptown to take control of the facility. It doesn't have a ton of cargo space, but there's enough room to pile a bunch of loose boxes in. When in VTOL mode, this thing might have the most powerful vertical thrust in the game. It's truly impressive. One thing that will make it more unique if it ever gets implemented is that has anti-grav projectors on the bottom and it's supposed to be able to skim super fast over the ground like a hoverbike. Lastly the Defender, which is probably the most practical of all the alien ships so far. 4x S3 repeatets are very strong, even though the ammo capacity is very low with them. S2 shields have a front and rear face, so you can put that extra juice where you need it. And it's rather maneuverable for how tanky it is. Not to mention there's plenty of interior space for boxes (though not cargo hauling) and has two beds. The copilot is supposed to be able to take independent control of aiming and firing gimballed weapons, but the implementation is not quite there yet. But as a solo combat ship, she's strong. I can't wait for the Railen. Hopefully the turrets can be slaved to pilot control, but even if not, it will still be a fun ship! And dude, please never say "ay-OH-puh" again.

its harder to do lorewise, some of the races in this game have a different anatomy than normal humans, almost every alien ship has to be moddified to be used by humans (mainly by Esperia Company). There are a few races that are closer to humans like the Banu or Xi'An if im not wrong both of them do sell ships to humans, but u usually dont see them that much in Human systems, They mainly live within their own sectors of the galaxy. This game has really good lore for the different races, i hope we get to explore more of them with Squadron 42
I am one of those people where alien ships do not want to own an alien ship. I am still glad that these ships are there in the PU and that their own races design language is fleshed out and rendered to a high detail.
Most MISC ships are partly alien, it was what saved the company from going bankrupt in the lore. The Freelancer and Hull series was what really saved it, and they have more alien tech than the Reliant series too.
Maybe when the game fully releases you can choose a race and have certain ships, like for the Xi'an you have better control/more upgrades with those kinds of ships, and vice versa for the other races. And depending on which race you choose you have more/less control with other races' ships. Like for humans you get the "human-itified" version, and you dont if you choose the ships original race you get the original design, just an idea but hopefully something along these lines is put in the game
It would be pretty cool if the prowler had drop pods, kinda like halo. That would make it fun and possible to drop onto planets and moons from further up, maybe even orbit without needing an in game jet pack or anything.
It was my understanding that the MISC Reliant ships were made with influence and a coop agreement with the Xi'an Aopoa company. Heavy use of Xi'an technology by MISC's xenotech team. Am I mistaken?
I've developed a new fad with the Esoeria Tallon. The performance in atmosphere is so incredible. It's a real shame that you basically have to swap the shields out to make it effective
Is there any current in-game interaction or reference to these alien races? I haven't seen any of the video clips seen here. I had no idea any of this was in the game, lol. Fairly new player. I believe I do have Squadron42 access, but as I understand it, not yet available to play.
hope they allow you to command the huge carrier like ships. would be cool to have the ability to launch AI fighters and if not ill have to make some friends.
Forgot the santokiay. Personally I prefer the older vanduul designs. They seem more real instead of "alien for aliens sake". Plus they feel more junkyard construction which I think fits nomadic raiders. But who knows, maybe they 3d print their ships or grow them or something.
Level, if you or one of your friends has a Redeemer, do you think you could test it out in one of your vids? Its my only ship right now and I'd like to see what a full crew can do with it effectively.
If they brought this game to PS5 the console wars are over. I'm an Xbox 1S player but I know this game can get crazy expensive, but I think PlayStation is closest to a MID range PC you can get. I love watching vids on this game the dog fighting is crazy cool, but the games strength is open space transportation. I have a friend who's been playing from day one, his role is Naval Fleet Commander.
I thought the Talon and Prowler were also made by vanduul like the Blade, Scythe, Glaive etc. Also The Tevarin look so sick, idk how they'd lose vs humans (and vanduul's armors, ignore the faces xd)
who knows, they are more advanced, so my guess is lower numbers than humanity. And considering their attachment to a natural environment as seen in the prowler, they maybe arent prone to build large cities that would allow them to have a greater population. But yeah love how much the prowler reveals about Tevarins themmselves: the red lighting is supposed to be a calming color for tevarins, and the lighting (white light on the ceiling) when power is on as well as the many ramified metal beams across the interior are meant to emulate a forest, thus showing what kind of environmnt tevarins are the most comfortable in.
this is how we get to something like ready player one. Zuckerberg's metaverse is a waist of energy. the developers of Star citizen are creating something really special. there is already a large virtual area that is shared by a significant online community. this verse will inevitably be able host game play beyond space missions and will lend itself well to virtual reality.
Those Esperia ship are insane but only for cash is too much money grab =( , liked Defender and the Mist Pokemon Style sick ship soon they allow to buy in game will be my combat ships for sure.
It’s in concept and has no work being done on it. But more likely it’s rarely mentioned so Level was probably unaware it even existed. Like how the Nox wasn’t included

Is there any current in-game interaction or reference to these alien races? I haven't seen any of the video clips seen here. I had no idea any of this was in the game, lol. Fairly new player. I believe I do have Squadron42 access, but as I understand it, not yet available to play.
Really waiting for more Banu ships
Looking forward to watch that tomorrow!
I hope that the tevarin geht new ships the tevarin Design is so cool
I'm a sucker for the Prowler and Talons..
Yeeees please :)
I think I've got the Glaive. All i remember is that the vanduul Ship I had in my possession had 4 Guns. So I guess it's the Glaive.
I see alot of Star Trek inspired ships. Atleast in this video. I still think its a awesome game.
10:18 Praise VANU!
Our foes will know the will of Vanu!
Vanu will Prevail..
1:19 So that's where Samus got her shit from. Interesting.
Bmm will be the coolest ship in the game can't wait
I don't have the pc to play this game but dang all those ships seems fun to just explore around
I once had a kartu al, god i miss that sound !
Seeing one is just so mesmerizing. So sad that it has absolute 0 cargo space
i wish when the game is completed, theres gonna be weekly raids, and pvp battles on planets. maybe then dropships would have use
So, control surface usually refers to elevators, ailerons, etc on aircraft. Not the buttons you press, instead the bits that move because of that.
The above appears to be a scam, ignore it if you get a similar reply.
love it just got a cutter feelin nice
hope they allow you to command the huge carrier like ships. would be cool to have the ability to launch AI fighters and if not ill have to make some friends.
think there is at least one carrier ship in the works, thugh no idea if you can command AI. Still, wish granted in a way
Imagine flying on Star Citizen, with a Vision Pro and joysticks.
Forgot the santokiay. Personally I prefer the older vanduul designs. They seem more real instead of "alien for aliens sake". Plus they feel more junkyard construction which I think fits nomadic raiders. But who knows, maybe they 3d print their ships or grow them or something.
or assimilate tech from the races they have conquered. BTW ingame lore says the Regen tech for humans came from the Vanduul.
Level, if you or one of your friends has a Redeemer, do you think you could test it out in one of your vids? Its my only ship right now and I'd like to see what a full crew can do with it effectively.
#JusticeForTevarin
Give them power, give them homes
If they brought this game to PS5 the console wars are over. I'm an Xbox 1S player but I know this game can get crazy expensive, but I think PlayStation is closest to a MID range PC you can get. I love watching vids on this game the dog fighting is crazy cool, but the games strength is open space transportation. I have a friend who's been playing from day one, his role is Naval Fleet Commander.
Crab ship remind me the scarab ship in 1997..Fury trial!
I didn't know this game had lore...
God I need to play this game
If you have a mighty PC, you can play now for free until July 15th.
@@DamonCzanik I spent £5000 on my PC wasnt sure it was worth it until I played SC on highest settings :D
Problem w this game is there are so many ships and they are mostly all for sale.
Those Esperia ship are insane but only for cash is too much money grab =( , liked Defender and the Mist Pokemon Style sick ship soon they allow to buy in game will be my combat ships for sure.
I like the glave 10:30
Now I know what ships I wanna gun for once I get star citizen.
This game will never be released/finished will it?
where can you buy those ingame? :D
You only showed the old exterior concepts of the BMM it's so much more bigger
Hey levelcap could u say the uec price of ships in future ships thx
Oh man that blade..
What about the santok?
Indeed
It’s in concept and has no work being done on it.
But more likely it’s rarely mentioned so Level was probably unaware it even existed. Like how the Nox wasn’t included
I love the Banu Defender but its functionality is not worth the price in dollars so I buy it with aUEC.
I hope they rehash the current scythe if they redesign it, i like both looks. Id have both gladly
I plant to buy the Talon and Defender.
I cant help but wonder why at least player's can't be aliens yet
Also man. I don't think the game will ever be finished in this life.
I think these guys are taking some inspiration from the ollld game Tachyon: The Fringe.
