Deepdive infotainment reviews are hard to come by but are the primary way drivers interact with cars today and are a big factor in determining how livable the car is. Love more deepdives with the different manufacturers infotainment systems or when there is a major update to one. Like Ford’s sync 4 that’s coming.
Thanks for posting this! Have a GLC 63 on order and trying to prep myself for delivery beforehand and not a lot of info out there on the new system. Love all your reviews!
I really love the infotainment, it was so easy to pick up. Doug think its the best so does Mat from carwow. The track pad isn't too bad, for me it took like 2 weeks to get used to
Hey Yuri, I was watching a lot of your straight pipes videos and I must say that you guys have great camera and Video editing work. I want to create a UA-cam channel in the future so I was wondering what editing software you guys use, and which ones you recommend
The GS F had that funny way of controlling the infotainment and the RC 350 had the trackpad thingy. Honestly I think Lexus has some of the funniest, most annoying and weirdest ways of controlling the infotainment.
Why on earth dont you use the steering wheel to control the radio, if you do not like the touch screen. Seems you should have investigated MBUX more before making this video :-/
Hey Yuri! Great review! I’m about to take delivery of a G63 in a couple weeks. Was wondering if you know which infotainment system it will have on it? Fingers crossed for rotary wheel.
Hey thanks for the video, I really enjoyed that but next time could you show us how to use the navigation and how to search for a street, and a number, and then how do you actually get the thing to tell you how to get to your destination I still can’t work out my MBUX system 🤷♂️🤷♂️
I think it’s a good review I know for you yuri you love infotainment systems in cars as your a tech guy and I myself love all the tech stuff in cars no at days
INFOTAINMENT!!! Arguably, almost more important than HP and TQ! Sorry Jakob! Honestly, if I was in charge of infotainment at any company, I would have 100 presets all with rewinding abilities
Oh of course! Allow you to make tune mix groups with the same station in multiple of them, song notifications, and a tambourine to play along with to your songs...like the right slider on the RDX.
We need to standardize infotainment to have knobs, hard buttons, nice responsive to inch screens WITHOUT LAG!!!, and have a scroll wheel along with the ability to touch the screen. Also, make a high res camera every car will use! If an IPhone can have a good camera, a car can do! Companies just want to focus on fur effiency, and over the top styling!
Daimler AG (parent company of Mercedes-Benz) should just ditch MBUX and just have the centre screen be used for reversing cameras (due to US Law), Apple CarPlay or Android Auto since it’s not like anyone was going to use the centre touchscreen for anything else anyways or just remove the centre screen altogether and just use a smartphone holder and an AM/FM/DAB radio tuner
Great job Yuri
TheStraightPipes thanks Yuri!
Comment written by Yuri not Jakob 😂
This is Yuri and we're going for a Swipe!
I'm a fan of this idea, not boring to me! Detailed reviews rock, if you have time, I'd love to see more!

Sooooo much stuff. That’s how you crash an expensive car !!!!! Just got a new 2021 GLC 300 4 Matic. OMG, my head is spinning….. Thanks for the help !
Thanks for your review, I've learnt a lot of useful information

100% Agree the track pad is a road hazard. I don't have the Track Pace app for some reason 2022 model
I think you’re a bit mean against Mercedes in this video. I own a Mercedes with MBUX system and it works like a dream🙂👍🏽
Touchpad thing is my least favourite
MBUX is a disappointment, it doesn't show full screen on most models!

Damn nice vid! Would you know if you can update a 2018 glc 250 to this MBUX?
Thanks for the review just got my GLC43, does the GLC have the interior assistant gesture control ? cant seem to find how to activate
Thx, very helpful.
Does it seem slow in general?
Informative
Can we get a deep dive into Prowler infotainment?
Great idea
@@YuriTereshyn also instead of the Sherway parking lot you need to do it at Cloverdale mall
@@attar81 imagine doing at either Don Mills or Yorkdale🤣
Please do the same on BMW and Audi
Will do
Disable the click sound when scrolling through menus for future videos
I just came here because Yuri is daddy. I guess infotainments are cool too.
MBUX with new Lexus infotainment features!
Wassup yuri. Can u guys plz review a nissan armada and ford expedition plz.
INFOTAINMENT!!! Arguably, almost more important than HP and TQ! Sorry Jakob! Honestly, if I was in charge of infotainment at any company, I would have 100 presets all with rewinding abilities
And tune mix mandatory

It's a shame that bezel is not thinner.
Great review - now go do BMW :)
Came back after 2 months lol
There is left track, right track…. You just swipe on those buttons on the trackpad instead of pressing down on them.
i like the system on the GLE way better
