All the pony species look so cute 😭 idk why but I always like the og ponies in the series, so I would make alicorn ocs because I couldn't decide between a horn and wings lmao
I love how much mlp content I'm seeing lately, it feels like I'm reliving the childhood mlp phase i never had All these species look so fun and i wanna draw them so badly!!!!! Sometimes i wish i was a little better at coming up with designs for ocs 😅 (not a cool crazy species but my oc is a little clown sheep, i think sheeps are neat)
it's definitely bring me back into my mlp phase haha! I think a clown sheep is pretty creative!! I bet it was cool af! I love making new things but I never finish ideas womp womp
i’ve made a pony species of my own, but i LOVE the last one and i love the idea of them the “species” i made was a mix between a diamond dog and a pony, the character is feathertwist and he has front paws instead of hooves :D i made him cuz i like dogs and struggle with drawing ponies, he’s a mailman too kinda like derpy cuz he’s half pegasus😋
I’ve made a species that was born from the essence of the stars and taken pony form. They themselves aren’t related to ponies whatsoever, they just took the form of a pony. They had a similar build to Alicorns and had similar lifespans to them. They had starry mains, tails, hooves, eyes, and marking all over their body. The color of these features would vary between individuals. They also had four horns instead of one and had zero wings. They often took the roles of Guardians and Guides and are incredibly rare.

The species is called a Stellarion btw. I did draw a character a while ago from the species that you can use as a reference for what the species looks like if you want to see it. You should take the time to write down the lore you remember. I created the White Clan. Lead by Frilly Frock and her husband, Diamond Flash, the clan made their home deep within the caverns of the Dragonback mountains. They all had white bodies but different colored manes. Their hooves are thick and free of any fur. This provides protection from the heat of the ground. Foals are born soft hoofed. They are kept in the upper levels until they shed their baby fur for the pristine white coat of an adult. Their dull gray manes and tails will also change to their adult color. Their hooves are dipped in a hot thick tar like mixture which causes them to harden. Once this is complete, the new adults choose their future tasks and become apprentices to the current masters of that task. They harvest various metals from the mountains around them and craft beautiful jewelry and armory. Frilly and her husband were responsible for taking the newly made items to the valley floor to sell. The White Clan was believed to have been lost during the War of the Guardians. This deadly war led to the fall of Magic and left the old world in ruin. Eventually, the events of Hearths Warming occurred and Equestria was founded. Whether or not the White Clan survived is unknown. Let’s see. There was Denim Blue, Sunny Skies, Blue Cross, and a number of others.

I remember when I was younger I made a Koi type Pony they had gills and could only come up on land for a few minutes to hours they live in little ponds or lakes and could change there size to a regular pony size to koi sized I don’t remember much of it because i made it when I was 6 😅 but I plan to try and make the Koi pony again
Oh my god, I love the crystal pony species!! I so wanna make one now! And the fact they have lil sprite pets when they discover their special talent is so cute wtf!! 😭 If those lil sprite creatures aren't limited by animal species, then I'm so making a unicorn crystal pony who has a lil dragon sprite companion!
Ages ago on DA, I made a species inspired by pond ponies (who’s community is still going strong after almost a decade) The species was the same concept as pond ponies but with rivers, essentially, they were just river spirits. xD I’m honestly surprised the ref sheets I made for them still occasionally get favorites.

i'm bad at drawing ponys but i’ve made a pony species of my own, but i LOVE the last one and i love the idea of them the “species” i made was a mix between a Timberwolf and a pony where they lived in trees so based on what what tree type the roots of the trees would grow over the front legs and the trees leaves grows from there mains and tail and they like to keep to themself so its rare to see them for normal pony's my oc was a sakura tree unicorn pony who was a doctor for her kind

DANG NOW I WANNA MAKE MY OWN SPECIES (open ofc, i understand closed species but imo they are a bit dumb) i really like the idea of them having horns (like dragons horns, not unicorn horns, bicorns work too) but i gotta like brainstorm and make em unique the struggle is real 😭

cloud jumper and flutterfly ponies are life the cloud jumper is so creative and the fluffy tail on the flutterfly is so cool
