I'd say even choose your skeins wisely. I had three full skeins, and with two of the three (the main color and the one that you used light pink for) I ran out before I finished the shawl. Even though each of those skeins was supposed to be somewhat more yardage than the requirements said. If I'd knit the shawl again, I'd probably buy two balls each of two colors of KfO merino for those colors, then I'd have about 130 - 150 meters more than the requirements and I hope it would be enough.
