Really like these videos that are just pure education and explainations. Besides the topic covered in this vid i had a quick question.
When taking wick flip continuations (for example in an uptrend and there are no levels to the left of us that could be traffic) would you still take the wick flip continuation buy if the previous green candle was visibly a lot bigger than the previous green candle (asking this cuz i would like to know whether you would classify that as an impulsive move and you wouldn't want to buy into it)
or lets say the previous green candle had a huge wick to the top. Would you still take these 2 flip continuation buys?
It really depends. But usually, with impulsive or over-extended candles, I would choose to stay out and wait for an average-range candle, knowing I could be a part of a bigger move. If the bigger move has happened I adopt the mindset I could have been a part of that move, I wasn't, so lets wait for a better opportunity or come back tomorrow. No FOMO'ing ever!

Hey Rock. Can’t we just trade after the Wide range candles? We don’t need to chase every higher high and low..
The message in this lesson is not to trade how my client trades. Finding the best way to trade is based on how you trade. Here, I was refining his chain of thought using my experience of understanding the market's behaviour and development. So, no, you do not need to wait for HL and LH to trade; you can also trade after wide-range candles.

My rule of thumb is one higher timeframe (4h, 1h) and one lower timeframe (15m, 5m). When you get confident and understand your processes, then 1m if you wish to venture there.
