Ojude Oba translates to "The King's Court" or "The King's Gathering." It is a time when different age groups, known as regberegbes, and family compounds, called tuns, come together to pay homage to the Awujale, the paramount ruler of ljebuland. It began over 200 years ago during the reign of Oba Adesimbo Tunwase.
