Styling course sounds interesting (I’m an addict when it comes to courses 🤣🤣🤣🤣) - the way I see it is: we need to know the rules first to break them 😘

Hey Alisa, the gingham top is pretty nice and fashionable. As for the styling course I am intrigued what they teach there. Styling in my opinion is trying different things on you, researching and seeing what “works” for you. Curious what collab comes next. Xx

Super excited to hear what you get out of the styling course. 😃…. Here you mentioned your colors.. did you have your colors professionally done? I sometimes struggle with my colors and what looks good on me. Been considering to get them done professionally . But I’ve heard good and bad stories from others and for the price they charge 😱… been trying to do more on my own for colors and styles for my body shape. What are your thoughts and what has helped you .. and what might you suggest doing it on your own…? 🥰
Hi Judy! 😍 I had my colours done professionally 20 years ago or so, but I still had to do some work to discover that only a select shades of green and almost no shade of red suit me as my skin is very light olive tone.. I would say they were pretty close but I had to fine tune it. It was with Colour Me Beautiful consultant. To be honest, I would say bite the bullet and do it. It might look expensive right now but wait and see how much you will save on not buying wrong colour clothes, accessories and makeup. I think your colours consultation is a good investment.
Regarding body shapes. I'm still trying to do my own thing but now I understand that I need to get some professional knowledge because I want to know everything on the subject and I can't do it on my own. And I would also want to help others. If you just want to find out about yourself you can get a consult.. or just wait till I do my course! 😘😘
It makes me so happy that you are curious about this and want to get to the bottom of what suits you personally. It might be a bit of a process but you will come out on the other side with solid knowledge of exactly what to make or buy for yourself.. and then just perfect your style as you go!! Now that I’ve picked up sewing again I see all these beautiful fabrics and sometimes get confused if they’ll look good on me and what style to sew up the fabrics. So investing in some professional help will certainly save us time and money! 😉 … I’m looking forward to see what your thoughts are on body shapes and styles! I think you’re on the right course. But don’t be surprised you will get a lot of new subscribers! 😃👏😎🥰

The gingham top is so cute! Do you think it would would work with suiting fabric? Am thinking my giant gingham might look great....
I think that gingham fabric print-wise would look amazing but the hand would be too stiff as there's lots of gathering on the sleeves and top of the skirt.. I think even quilting cotton would probably be too stiff for this pattern. Cotton lawn, however, would look amazing! ❤️❤️😘

Hey Alisa, I'm glad to see the sparkle back in your eyes. That dress is so fun! 👸 I can't do a lot of the current fashions. 🤔 They swamp me. Sadly I couldn't even do them the first time they came around in the late 70's, early 80's, but I definitely enjoy seeing them on other people. 😀
