This is by far one of my favorite episodes. And i even watched both Juice and a few Halloween movies before i watched the episode for the first time. Can’t wait till you see the last 8 episodes they are hilarious
This is one of my favorites! The strange thing is that I remember watching this multiple times on TV, so I'm curious when both perception shifted for it and it became a banned episode.
This episode is crazy enough that it was actually based on a child who really did those things in the beginning and they made him into a demon, although he may as well be. Plus, what surprised me the most was 2 things: this occurred around the same area where I’m still currently living which is not too far and even some time of accomplishing many things throughout his life after that, the boy still hasn’t changed a bit when committed another serious crime and now, he’s serving his sentence. Shame, for all he has done, he really could’ve made something for himself.
This episode just highlights how Juice is a horror story, especially with the additional analogy from Halloween. Juice starts off as a typical teen drama film then turns into hood horror.
@@marlom7882 its a 90s movie that had Tupac as the villain, i dont want to spoil it to you so i recommend watching it so you can understand the context of these scenes
I loved this episode so much. Fun fact: Tom Kane (Dr. Doomis/Riley’s Teacher) voiced Loomis in Halloween H20 (1998) I didn’t know until listening closely that Bobb’e J. Thompson voiced LaMilton

I mean the dude that wanted him dead wasn't wrong. The real lamilton is still a criminal and is definitely some kind of sociopath. When someone is a repeat offender and shows no signs of changing, you gotta spot the signs before you end up with a complete mf disaster.
Another movie that was referenced was "The Good Son" with Elijah Wood and Macaulay Culkin where they threw the mannequin over the bridge to cause the car accident and shooting the dog. Kevin graduated serial killer in training from home alone 2 to the good son.
W Riley episode! Both Marketa and Navi’s anxiety for Riley was on 10 this whole episode😂 6:17 Navi looks like a disappointed parent and Marketa looks like she wants to whoop Riley worse than Grandad did😂😭 Also, notice Chris is quick to say Riley has no hands in other episodes but you didn’t hear him say anything this episode 😤👊🏾
Latarian and Danielle aka catch me out side girl lived in the same area we actually know Daninelle people think shes acting but thats just how she acts cause people around here act like that shes just a product of her environment. Also where did yall get that Latarian is doing music lol his been locked up in prison since 2019 for car jacking.
I just remembered this episode also has elements of the movie Juice in it also. If you guys havent seen it already, I'd love to have ya'll do a group reaction to it.
The plot of this episode draws a lot of scenes from The Good Son movie starring Macaulay Culkin and Elijah Woods. From dropping the doll over the highway bridge, shooting at the dog, to the roof top climax.
Boondocks version of 'Halloween', 'Juice', and a little bit of that news report of the kid who drove a big vehicle, bragging to a reporter that it was 'fun to do bad things'!!!!! Lamilton Taeshawn was a PINT-SIZED NIGHTMARE!!!!
@@ShantalhaitianPrincess public schools are a mess everywhere. However Florida actually enforces laws as opposed to California which doesn’t. Why do you think businesses are fleeing?

"Hoodrat stuff with my friends" definitely includes messing up other people's property. I definitely grew up with people that would hide in the woods by a busy road and throw rocks at cars as they drove by. They thought it was fun until a guy jumped out of a car with a shotgun. We had no concept of the value of cars bc we used to sit on people's parked cars, too. I knew better than throwing rocks, but I didn't know sitting on someone else's car would be a problem until I got my own car lol
If I remember correctly, there was also a scandal with the Judge Judy Show in 2008 after he appeared on the show. But he got arrested again for a 4-man carjacking and robbery as an adult in 2018, and was in jail as of 2023.
3:47 I don't understand what was so funny about teaching kids to act their age but kudos to Riley for toughening it out. 4:38 How could a small child switch from being scared of his elders to beating them up in public? 6:28 This should not be That hilarious. 11:26 Wasn't that an Exorcist reference?
This story still annoys me years later especially now that it’s become a trend to hack cars and steal them thanks to TikTok and one of the most famous stories is of an 11 who’s done it several times and can’t be held accountable for anything due to his age. Growing up with classmates who had the same mentality and knowing it’s gotten worse is tragic. And the kid doing “bad stuff” reactions is nothing but smiles and laughter. Only redeeming quality this episode has is the Michael Myers parody.
they all gonna end up like Latarian in prison the only reason Danielle became famous was cause she was a white girl from the "hood" lower working class Black/Hispanic area really, plus pedos followed her cause she was a teen twerking on snapchat, dubsmash, and kik.
This feels like the episode where the reins started to officially slip from McGruder's hands. Where the show started to morph from Boondocks to black (wannabe) South Park.
Not knowing any of the references, when I first watched this episode I think I stopped watching boondocks for a good while. Without them this episode isn't funny it's just... really unpleasant.

It's funny as hell. But sad too, If I did something like this, I'd be begging for the police to take me into custody. It'd be safer than going home.

Next week:
"This is America. My President is black and my lambo is blue."
'Then I started thinking, what if this was a movie'
That is my favorite Riley scene in the entire show.
It would've been funnier if he was still going by Riley Escobar

"Now get the Fuk out of my hotel room, and if I see you in the street. I'm slapping the shit out of you!"

Fucking classic
He got arrested in 2017 for armed carjacking, burglary, and committing a felony with a firearm
And smokin with Cigawettes lol
