Hi Ben , beautiful birds especially the red -brown jaspe ones ! Your place is really impressive even if not finalized ! Al my best for the 2019 season ! Cheers Chris
Great video, I don't subscribe to a lot but your channel is a must, I uave noticed all questions are answered and that is what made me subscribe 🙂, keep up the good work 👍
Hey Ben, Just wanted to say I'm liking your new bird room also good luck for the season ahead. I am going to start putting my pairs together probably next week. After last year I wanted to hold off a little bit what with the crazy weather we had. That and I now have to source four new hens lol!! I had originally kept 4 of last years young back and I thought they where sexed two hens and two cocks but as off Thursday two I thought where hens turned out to be cocks and are singing for all their worth
Yes I won't be putting mine down till at least April, and as you say the weather doesn't help, what birds were they? If your in England did you go to Stafford sale today as you would of picked up any birds you needed
Hey Ben, Nah I live in Ireland (Dublin) so Stafford would definitely have been out for me. A lot of the sales here tend to be around September/October. I'm going to see if a few people I know have some spare hens if not I'll just have to hold the cocks over as I won't buy bird from a shop!! I just keep fifes nothing fancy like yours :)
Glad your back Ben and after 6 months my time does fly....All new set up and shed by the looks of it....No outside flights of bull finches ??Good luck for the season..
Yes a lot has changed in 6 months, Bullys have all gone which is a shame but wanted to concentrate on Canaries and Goldfinch's for the time being, I still have the flights so they may go up if I can convince the Mrs lol
Hi Ben great video cracking birds just wondering how you prepare your birds for breeding hope you are going to keep the vids on UA-cam as I don’t do face book all the best for 2019 cheers mark
Hi Mark, I will answer your question in the next video as I'm just starting to get the birds into condition. All my videos will continue to be on UA-cam, I just put a few pictures of updates on my breeding season rather than making a 1 minute video

Ben Martin : hello ben. Can you please help me in finding some of these cages for me. Please let me know from where you bought these? How much would be the cost? Hope you’ll reply soon
Canaries will naturally come into condition just like the wild birds do, but I will give more egg food and soft food to the birds in the lead up to the breeding season, this also includes multi vitamins. I use light and a little heat which will help alot.
Nice birds the best of breeding season 👍
Thanks Jimmy
