When we truly understand how He, the Father has loved us, then and only then will we love Him back as His beloved children. This is about a loving relationship with our Heavenly Father. The Lord describes the three types of unworthy disciples in Luke 9. Verses 57-58 describes Catholics who want the best the world has to offer as well as personal salvation; verses 59-60 describes Protestants, who place family and business before seeking the Lord with a whole heart; and verses 61-62 describes Pentcostal/charismatics who confuse their base emotions as the Holy Spirit's leading. These folks are unworthy disciples because (1) they don't pray without ceasing, (2) they may read their Bible, but they don't study it prayerfully, and (3) because they lean to their own understanding, they fail to look to the needs of others as the Spirit leads. And before the religionists freak out, there are in fact folks who seek the Lord with a whole heart, having died to self and allowing the Spirit to show them the path of righteousness (not mere 'right & wrong') IN CHRIST.
Hello brother, I was wondering if there was any advice you could give on studying the Bible prayerfully and praying without ceasing. I'm trying to gain a relationship with Jesus Christ so I can help guide others to the path of righteousness.

Revelation 20:15 says, " And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the LAKE OF FIRE."
