You're absolutely right 👍 After reading self help for years and years I came to the same conclusion. Most of them are just "muh k fire" and they've very little to do with real psychology which people often confuse them with. Philosophy books are not easy to swallow but they're mind opening once you get the gist of it.

Kimaya e sadaat 3. Ihya e uloom Deen ke takkar main kahin bhi nahi.
Mera matlab yeh nahi ke angrezi kitabein na padhen par agar nafsiyat ko hi padhna hai ya kisi insan ko agar pahle khud ko samjhna ho unko yeh kitabein zaroor padhna chahiye us ke bad usi nafsiyat main modern science ko samjhiye
