Hi Sam, just wanted to let you know I discovered your channel two days ago and ended up binge watching all forty five episodes. Fantastic! Really enjoyed watching. I have done that type of work myself so I certainly can appreciate what you do. I also have a soft spot for VW buses. I had a ‘62 and a ‘64 back in the late ‘60s. Your attention to detail is beyond compare. Monumental work. Looking forward to more.😊
remember there were Friday busses snd Monday busses.....They were different. Just like every other car manufacturer. One of my busses had a German Newspaper behind one of the panels.
If you pre stretched even just the edge of the pressed areas you would get less distortion in the panels and the pressing process would be easier as you would need less pressure and get crisper edges.
I have tried pre stretching but hasn't really saved any time overall when the panel allows easy shrinking. That could be partially the fault of using my crappy english wheel for pre stretching.

It's so satisfying when you prime the panels you have made and it's possible to see how good they look. Best wishes for 2025.
Gratelly admire your work and improvisational skills, brilliant video thank you👍
Amazing skills. Nearly time for body panels 😎👍

Puzzle continues! I like, I like a lot. and as usual that engine nearly giving up on the intro makes me laugh
Avançado de painel a painel. Admirável reconstrução.
Great work Stan, I wish I had made my front floor now after watching this. Would have made for good content and probably some great fails ;)
The bus is really taking shape now. Thanks for the education!
Great job as always Stan !

Gptncaugjt up again stan your doing a really good job on this keep up the good work
It’s a shame after all that work and attention to detail… that you overlapped and didn’t butt weld.
Original barndoor floor panels were in 5 sections with lap joints. Later splits are single part. I cover this in episode 43
