And it was so amazing to see them on tour!!

I think I like the older music better, but it's interesting to see his music change along with his life.
I think so, he and Toca work really well together, more rhythmic and edgy. He said he always wanted to collaborate with Raining Jane, and their collaboration is just more mellow. They're completely different, I suppose it's just a matter of preference at that point.
I don't know, probably just getting older and too much use. He's so smooth though, I like his voice still!
I actually filmed this! when i gave it to crispy my dorm had a fire alarm go off lol so cool to find it again after all these years

Well it's been 15 yrs and I still haven't seen this on the 5th album...
Toca Rivera looks sooooo cool, the perfect team.
Only Mraz can play an promotional show for an album and not play any songs on the album, haha (Excluding the short snippet of "Remedy" in "Rand McNally" of course. I absolutely love this guy.

i agree.. but.. seriously.. ask for a cover as the first song... really? that's is probably one of the rudest things you could ever do. You just told him that you don't really care about his music, just how he plays other peoples music. might as well have asked for free bird.
But it isn't just any cover. Mraz owned "Rocket Man", and loves playing it. It keeps showing up in concerts too. It's like Elliott Smith covering "Thirteen", it's practically his.
Stumbled across Mraz on iTunes festival years ago. Instant fan. Love Mraz and Rivera live acoustic - raw and real. Every time a smile. Great stage presence. Feels 3D compared to studio/band output / more recent material. Great video.

I went to school with Mr. Orange Shirt. We knew his family since we were kids in Oceanside Ca. His brother Carlos is a well known musician. Haven't seen "Toca" or Hector in years myself.
