Thank you so much for this!! I am 53. When I was embroiled in an abusive relationship with my 2 young boys, I saw this movie. I cried SO hard.. not about the movie, but about what I couldn't show anyone. I had uncaring pastors blaming me, and you children who didn't understand when mom took them away from their family and friends and we went into a battered women's shelter. My goodness, this song delves up soo MANY memories... But now.. I am remarried to my childhood best friend.. a marriage made of faerie tales, faith, trust, and pixie dust. And the Lord got me through it all . But boys are stable, adjusted adults, one in the military and married. God watches out for them when I couldn't!!! Thanks for listening.. this is for all those who may be in a similar situation. Maybe feeling trapped, not in control, lost, never lose your faith in God . I promise.. it gets better. 10/13/19, years after my relationship turmoil, I was resurrected after being dead over 5 minutes from a pulmonary embolism. All my organs shut down, and after I was resuscitated (breaking 5 ribs), they said I would be on dialysis the rest of my life. But 3 weeks later, things began to work on their own. I had many miracles and several nurses and doctors still call me a miracle. My heart still gives me issues, I have many rare complications, and my cardiologist doesn't know how I am alive. All they can do is change my meds and wait til it just decides to stop ticking when God says so. Sooooo.... I'll try. Every good day I go for walks, every bad day I sleep all day. I'll Try!! I believe! God is good, He is awesome!!
