Thank you for taking time to take the assembly out. I was needing a good look at how this spring hooked, and you can't really see what kind of a puzzle the Germans have engineered from above. Very helpful.

Awesome. I didn't do this in the video, but I recommend first insert the bulb, then clip, finally the connector. Also careful with the plastic cover. Every plastic on this car breaks. Very brittle.

I am having a hard time getting the passenger low light spring out

I was able to get it out and replace it but after i installed the bulb i smelled burning

Just did one last night. What a fucking pain in the ass this is. Even getting the covers off on the driver's side was a pain in the ass.

I took the bulb out since it was getting ridiculously hot

This spring is so difficult to put back in that most likely you would have to pull the light back out on right/passenger side. Another example of idiotic German engineering.
